This is such a good wooden coaster! On my visit, I thought the ride was running decently smooth, but I have herd this ride is temperamental when it comes to smoothness. I love the pacing of this ride, especially in the first half, you also get some decent floater airtime too. The first drop starts with a lot of speed off the lift which offers some great airtime. This ride hauls until that slow turn into the break run. This is a very underrated ride in my opinion, and it is in the top 5 for me at magic mountain!

It's a fun ride, but not comfortable at all. The seats are very comfortable, but I just feel like the ride was way too bumpy, I understand it's made of mostly wood, but it's just way too bumpy for my satisfaction.

For some reason the line for this one was insanely long on a weekday of all days. The ride itself isn't worth waiting up to an hour. It's decent, don't get me wrong - it's a fine wooden coaster, but there's nothing really memorable about it either, other than it being pretty fast. Only go on this if there's barely a wait time.

I can’t begin to imagine why anyone would give this ride anything above 1*, the theming of this ride is pretty interest, but really this is only positive aspect of this ride. It’s so violent it gave me a mild concussion. Not only me, but I know people who’ve experienced intense neck and head injuries due to this ride as well. It’s not enjoyable what so ever. The entirety of the 1 minute ride is just trying to make sure you don’t snap your neck or break something. If I could rate it a zero, I would. Not only that but the tunnel leading to the ride REAKED of pickles. Ew.

I rode this years ago when it was brand new and under the Terminator name, and while I always thought it was a good ride, I just rode this since it’s apparent new tracking and I literally had my jaw dropped the entire time. This coaster absolutely tears through the track with force, and in my opinion is actually a better ride than the otherwise indubitable favorite in this park: Twisted Colossus. Apocalypse is a top 3 ride in this park, and definitely the most underrated one. And maybe second best wooden coaster OVERALL to Ghostrider at Knotts. Between Apocalypse, Twisted Colossus, and Ghostrider the top 3 wooden coasters in the US can hypothetically be ridden in a day. All hail SoCal wooden coaster dominance!
