Atlantis Waterpark at Bull Run Introduce

Welcome to Atlantis Waterpark at Bull Run, located at 7700 Bull Run Dr, Centreville, VA 20121, USA, and featured in the Theme Park Directory. Atlantis Waterpark is described as a great small water park that is particularly enjoyable for children.

The environment at Atlantis Waterpark is noted for its thoughtful design, especially the "gated" kiddie areas which help prevent younger children from wandering into deeper pools, enhancing safety. There is also a sand play area, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own sand toys for added fun. Picnic shelters are located just outside the park, offering a cost-saving option for meals by bringing your own food. The lifeguards are consistently mentioned as being vigilant, providing reassurance for safety within the park. While the park itself is considered fantastic and amazing for both kids and adults, there are reported issues with the men's locker room showers having freezing cold water consistently, a problem that seems to be ongoing despite management awareness. In contrast, the women's locker room sometimes has extremely hot water. The landscaping and overall park maintenance are not specifically commented on.

The services offered by Atlantis Waterpark include access to various water attractions suitable for children and adults. Lifeguard supervision is a key service, with lifeguards described as always vigilant. Food is available for purchase within the park, but it is reported to be very expensive, and the quality can be inconsistent, as one reviewer experienced old and inedible french fries. Bringing your own food to eat at the picnic shelters outside the park is a recommended cost-saving strategy. The functionality of all water park features is generally implied to be good, although one reviewer noted that the water table in the sand play area was not working.

Features of Atlantis Waterpark include designated and "gated" kiddie areas for younger children's safety, a sand play area (though the water table may not be functional), and vigilant lifeguards ensuring a safe environment. The park is considered fantastic for kids and even enjoyable for adults. However, significant drawbacks reported include consistently freezing cold water in the men's locker room showers and sometimes extremely hot water in the women's, as well as expensive food with potential quality control issues. The option to bring your own food and eat at picnic shelters outside the park is a notable feature for budget-conscious visitors.

Great small water park for the kids. Save $ by bringing your own food and eating at a picnic shelter just outside. I love how they have the kiddie areas "gated" so Littles don't wander near the deeper pools. Bring sand toys! I'd have given it 5 stars if only the water table worked in the sand play area!

The park itself is fantastic! We love this place and have had great experiences in the past. However, this year, the water in the men's locker room was freezing cold at all times—whether it was evening, noon, or morning. It was fine last year and the year before. I spoke to a manager, and it seems this is an ongoing issue. The next day, we visited the park in the morning and encountered the same problem. It's unreasonable to ask people to shower before entering the water when the showers don't work properly. The situation is completely opposite in the women's locker room, where the water is sometimes extremely hot. This park has great potential, but these issues need addressing. Regarding the food, I ordered chicken wings and french fries on both Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday, the french fries were very old—not crunchy but oily and soft, making them inedible. Additionally, the food is very expensive. It appears there's a lack of quality control. On the positive side, the lifeguards are always vigilant, which is very reassuring. The park is amazing for kids and even adults. Don’t get me wrong, the park is fantastic—you just need to fix the showers. Last year, this place was amazing, but this year the issues with the showers are disappointing. I'm not sure if I will visit again, as I can't force my 5-year-old kids to shower with freezing cold water.

Really great time. Just perfect for a weekend outing for my kids ages 7-13. There’s enough here to keep them occupied for hours. The food was not bad either, for pool food. We arrived early to get chairs, but there were seats open around the pool throughout the day. Finally, the staff was exceptional. Polite, professional, and safety-focused. You really can’t ask for much more at a community pool/park!

The lifeguards at this pool were phenomenal!!! They really ran like a well oiled machine, never seen anything like it. They saved 2 kids drowning almost immediately and had a system in place to bring attention to the child in need of help like lighting speed, there were even 5 more lifeguards that came running from no where to support the situation. I’m very impressed. Food was ok, location was a bit far but clean - with plenty of seating.

Hidden little gem of summer fun. Tucked way back into Bull Run National Park you can stumble onto this very affordable little water park. While a bit small, it is packed with tons of water activities for kids to enjoy. They have a couple big slides, a huge pool with small slides, an infant area with a beach, and and water filled playground with the bucket that tips over a huge load of water. Fun for hours. Food onsite. Bathroom acceptable considering the amount of people when we were there.
