B&B Theatres Ankeny 12 & B-Roll Bowling

What a cool, upscale place! Has a bar, bowling, movies but a little expensive but I guess they have to pay for the place! Super nice!

Went to my first 4DX movie here the other day; was excited to see Mufasa in 3-D in a 4DX theater. I was the only one in the theater so I don't know if the staff forgot to activate the special effects and the motion for the seats, but nothing happened. I watched the movie for 30 minutes and the seats never moved. I should have saved my money and went to Jordan Creek to the D-Box seats which were cheaper and had a better experience, plus the seats at least recline.

I'm really disappointed in this place. I have gone bowling and to a few movies here and always had a great experience. I wanted to book the bowling and arcade party offered on their website for my son's birthday. I tried to call, but you cannot get a real person to answer the phone - the automated operator directs you to the website. The website has you fill out a form and they say they will get back to you. I emailed them as well at the email provided on the website. I waited for a week and never received a response. Very, very frustrating and disappointing.

I hadn't been there in a while but was quite impressed with how clean the theater, chairs, hallway and especially the bathrooms were. I'll try to watch all our movies here from now on. Well done!

I had no idea this has been open for 6yrs! It had a nice sit down bar you can order dinner. Has bowling which was packed, I didnt visit the arcade. The theater was clean, comfy with recliner seats, & clean restrooms. Concessions were plentiful. There were security present outside. Felt safe, enjoyed the atmosphere.
