Baker Street Escapes (Moved to 8 NW 8th Street OKC, OK 73102)

How fun is the concept of this new location! I came here for my birthday and to try out their new room - The Time Travelers. We booked online ahead of time, which is always easy. The building is painted on the outside with the new BSTA logo of their themed rooms. The door to enter is teal and is west-facing. We were greeted by Brandon who checked us in, did a costume change, and got us started. They played a video that Brandon acted along with as our room introduction. The room was fun - as always - but what was new to me was that their new concept is multi-episodal AND each room has different endings that affect other episodes! I was so impressed to learn that when we were finished. This first room has 4 different endings depending on your level of success. We finished with mere seconds to spare. Brandon was fun to have as a GM and asked if we would like to track our progress through the episodes and track our different endings in a book they were selling for $5. I was so immersed, we bought the book! I'm really excited about what they have planned next and look forward to coming back.

This was our first time going to this escape room and we had such a great time! The room we did was well designed and had great soundtrack/effects for ambience. The puzzles were well laid out and not overly complicated. We also love that the rooms and building are apart of the same storyline. We definitely recommend these escape rooms!

The theme and room layout were good and interesting but did seem kinda small for a group of 8. It was hard to move around between the puzzles even when we were spread out. We lost a good portion of time on 2 of the main 4 puzzles because we had the right answer but the equipment wasn't registering. On one of the puzzles there was tape that looked like arrows but wasn't where you lined up the answer. We had said the right answer out loud several times for about 30 minutes trying to figure it out. The lady working let us know it was correct after we asked for a hint. The other puzzle we wasted 15 minutes trying to rework the puzzle but still eneded up with the same answer which one of the deciphered letters was wrong. We put in the answer that was closest but had to jiggle the dials around before it acknowledged the answer. After we failed the room, we told the lady working about the issues and she didn't seem too concerned. She apologized and said she never heard us say the right answers. She was also slow to respond the first time I used the walkie talkie.

This was awesome! We took our nephew out for his birthday and this was a new place to go! The service here is amazing and the game was soo much fun! We highly recommend this escape room!
