Batman: The Ride

This is an inverted roller coaster that is close to the entrance gate so it is the one we hit first. The park was not crowded during our visit and there was usually no wait for this ride so we were able to ride it multiple times. The line pathway can be long, especially when it is not crowded but I am sure it is necessary on more crowded days. The ride was great and when it is not crowded it is easy to hop back in line and get on again. The reason I deducted a star is because during peak summer months, the parts of the ride that are inside or covered get extremely hot. I am not sure if fans were not working or not or just not available but those may have helped. There is also no place to store carried items and that can slow loading of the ride down for people who do not know that. Prepare accordingly.

Batman the Ride is consistently thrilling. It moves from element to element and inverts five times! Somehow the one in Over Texas always makes me dizzy but I've ridden this one three times in Saint Louis and it has not (cooler weather?). The sound effects in the line were nice additions.

Fantastic B&M clone. The front row is a great experience and never gets old. There’s something special about having the clear line of sight and you really feel like you are flying through the layout. This coaster probably has the most theming of any coaster at the park. The loading can slow way down if people don’t understand that you can’t leave phones or other items in the station while you ride. Please figure that out before you get in line so we can all get on the ride faster.

Every Batman The Ride clone, (that I've ridden) has been enjoyable. With the original one at SFGAm being my favorite. This one was a little less forceful than the SFGAm one, but it was a little bit smoother. Overall, it's a great ride still. 7.5/10

The ride was amazing, but my boyfriend and I didn’t appreciate that you couldn’t put your backpack anywhere off to the side. We had gotten right up on the ride and I put our stuff (a backpack and fanny pack) off to the side and the workers immediately stated we could not have our belongings there. We were able to put the fanny pack on, but in order to be on the ride we either had to take the back pack to a locker and get back in the end of the line or we had to ask complete strangers to watch our backpack. Thank god we had some very trustworthy strangers who were willing to watch our stuff for us. I find it absolutely ridiculous that on every other ride there was a spot for us to place our belongings except this ride when there were places for drinks which absolutely had enough room for everyone’s belongings. They do not tell anyone there is not a place for their belongings (backpacks, bags, and so on) until after you’ve waited in line and begin to set it off to the side by the drinks. Every single time we saw a group go on we saw the ride being hindered by atleast five minutes for people trying to find someone to watch their stuff so they could enjoy the ride after waiting an hour plus in line.
