Belmont Park reminds me of the places I loved going to as a kid—a classic seaside amusement park with just the right mix of rides, games, and fun food. Sitting right on Mission Beach, it has that old-school boardwalk charm, making it the perfect spot for a few hours of laid-back entertainment. It’s not a huge park, but that’s part of its charm. There are just enough attractions to keep families entertained without feeling overwhelming or overpriced. Whether you’re riding the iconic Giant Dipper Roller Coaster, playing arcade games, or grabbing a bite at one of the food stands, there’s something fun for everyone. It’s the kind of place where you can spend a couple of hours having a blast without breaking the bank. For a little bit of nostalgia, ocean breezes, and classic amusement park vibes, Belmont Park is a must-visit in San Diego!

This park is awesome! It’s completely free to enter, and you only pay for the rides and games. I love running through the park during my weekly runs and feeling the fun vibes. It’s also a great place to get funnel cakes and other fair foods anytime of the year. 💗 Parking is also free!

Family Fun at Belmont Park on Thanksgiving Day We visited Belmont Park with our kids for the first time, despite having been there before. The park was chilly and foggy on Thanksgiving Day, but surprisingly less crowded. We enjoyed the kid-friendly rides like the Carousel, Wave Jumper, and Mic Drop ($5 per person). A bonus was that parents could accompany kids under 3 on these rides. We also spent $40 on arcade games, which came with $59 worth of play. The kids had an absolute blast! We even won 1,000 points on the Big Wheel, but unfortunately, the redemption gifts were underwhelming. Hopefully, they'll improve their gift options soon. Positives: - Helpful staff - Clean toilets - Kid-friendly rides Negatives: - Limited and unimpressive redemption gifts Overall, we had a great time, and the kids loved it. While it's not a destination for repeat visits, it's perfect for a one-time family outing.

Very cool place to go especially if you want to bring your kids. They have lots of rides little restaurants and a whole bunch of little snack places to eat at. They have little plays sometimes and music. They also have a big swimming pool.
