Big Escape Rooms

Big escape rooms was super easy to book with online. You can clearly see puzzle descriptions, max number of people per room, price, difficulty, and pass rate on the website. I don’t think many escape rooms include about how many people passed the room, but I’m not sure if they ever update it or if the numbers are accurate. Angelica introduced us to the room and setting! She was super kind~ We did the basketball one (rated at easy, 50% pass rate, up to 6 ppl in a room) as a warmup. If 6 people were in this small room, it would definitely feel claustrophobic. It wasn’t too challenging or simple. The hardest thing was how to use the walkie talkie since it was my first time LOL. Angelica had to interventions and tell us to let go of the black button on the walkie talkie. We were a bit stumped with how some of the puzzles work because I never thought I could do this in particular to find clues. Some of the visuals and props could’ve needed some work like painting, antiqueness, and productional set up. But the room was pretty clear with what needed to be solved. Their wooden placards for escaping or failing the puzzle were mediocre though ☹️ The person working when we ended took some not great pictures but kind enough to retake 😅. Another thing so I didn’t like is that when we opened the final door to the actual room, the timer kept going. So we don’t really know when we finished (or if we were even close to the leaderboard). The room and floor were also freezing cold.

The escape was great. We did the Boris the clown one. We got to the last room but ran out of time. Overall a fun experience & the host was great as well. Will definitely recommend.

Super fun experience ! My girlfriend and i were the only one’s there which added to the ambiance and made it that much more interesting. Game was very fun and would recommend to a friend !

Highly do *NOT* recommend. We showed up 15 minutes early like the email said to a LOCKED door. No employees were inside. We were waiting in this run down, sketchy-looking corporate hallway for over 40 minutes (well past our scheduled time slot). We called multiple times and were assured that someone would "be there in 5 minutes." No one ever showed up. Us and another waiting party got frustrated from waiting so long so we all left. We called immediately to notify the business that we were leaving and requested a refund and the business has been dodgy about refunds as well!! They said to email (after mysteriously dropping the call)—OK, we did and have not heard back in days so I have to go through my credit card company. This has been a headache to deal with. Cherry on top is that the women's bathroom didn't have a functioning dryer or paper towels, which seem to match another review from a couple months ago which makes me question if they've ever been cleaned. I should have looked more closely at the other similar 1 star review because they are not lying!!! This seems to be a not-infrequent occurrence...
