Do yourself a favor and don't wear any jewelry on the slides. I lost 2 anklets there, both times I used the slides. The pool is clean and the staff is nice but I never had issues in other water parks. The water jet is very powerful to push the inflatables and you hit the water strongly.

Black Bob Bay is a city pool in Olathe that has some water park features - slides, a lazy river, rock wall climbing, etc. My kids spend most of thier summer here. We love it. We usually get a season "splash" pass because we live here, but I know you can get in FREE once with a Pogo Pass. If you're not from Olathe, check out the Pogo Pass. There's so many other things you can sh as well. We used code: KCMEMORIES to get them half off!

Great smaller community water park. The highlights are definitely the 4 diving boards (2 different heights) and rock wall. The lazy River is okay but not the greatest. You are required to use the tube while in it. There are 2 slides and both require you to use a tube but are fun. There is a small area for little ones to play as well. Cost is $10 for residents/ $12 for non residents. We would definitely return to enjoy the diving boards as it’s the coolest we have found so far in the kc area.

Very fun public pool in Olathe. They’ve got four diving boards, two slides, a rock wall, a lazy river, a kids area and a big open pool. It’s a little expensive for what it is, but aside from that it’s a great spot! Our kids had a blast and loved being there. Overall well maintained and clean facilities which is very nice.

Nothing super impressive the lazy river is small, the slides aren't super exciting but great for those who like mild slides, for some reason they had one person at a time going up the stairs to the top. Love to see a pool that still has diving boards. The little kids park wasn't super impressive either but gets the job done. The seating and lounge seats looked pretty worn and discolored. The swimming pool area is massive so if you like to swim laps and just hang out in the pool this is the place to go. There like 3 huge sections combined. Like a lap sections a 4-5ft open section and a shallow section. My kiddos didn't want to stay long so I'm glad I got in free or it would have been a waste.
