Break Free Escape Room

Always a pleasant, smooth experience here. The staff are really friendly and patient. The rooms themselves are well thought out and really fun. The best thing about this place is the private rooms/parties. I've been to several escape rooms that force you to play with strangers and when that happens I just leave lol. It's really not okay to do that to people unless they like solving problems with strangers (which is an experience in itself). I just appreciate the fact the Break Free lets you have the whole room to yourself. I also appreciate the kind staff and the thought that goes into the room and the puzzles. It's such a blast solving these escape rooms, I've only done 3 of them but I'd love to do the rest, too!

We did the Cash Me if You Can room and it was SO MUCH FUN! Our three strong personalities made it out in 43 minutes. Cass was a cool host who made the experience a lot of fun. Looking forward to coming back soon!

I’ve had multiple experiences at this escape room, but after this last visit, I’m seriously questioning whether I’ll be coming back. The employee who assisted us was on the larger side and was not only unenergetic but also outright rude. She was extremely stingy with hints and, to make things worse, she left the room halfway through our experience, leaving us completely stranded. My previous visit was a completely different story—another employee was helpful, engaged, and provided us with hints whenever we asked, which made for a much more enjoyable experience. This time, however, we were met with a staff member who seemed disinterested and unwilling to help, which made the experience unnecessarily frustrating. It’s clear that the staff isn’t consistent when it comes to providing a good experience. I’ve had much better visits, but this one left a very bad taste in my mouth. If you’re running an escape room, your staff should be present, energetic, and professional, not making you feel like you’re inconveniencing them. This visit was a huge letdown, and unless the service improves, I’m not sure I’ll be back.

I had a great time at Break Free Escape Room! The puzzles were fun and engaging, and the atmosphere was immersive. It was challenging but definitely beatable—perfect for those who enjoy a good challenge without getting too frustrated. Overall, a solid experience for both beginners and seasoned escape room fans!

Amazing escape room and great customer service! Our flight was delayed and they were so accomodating, going above and beyond to work with our schedule. We did the neon room with 3 people. It was my mother in law's first time and they were so helpful in making her first time a positive experience. We loved every second of our time here, and would come back when we are in Houston.
