Break From Reality Escape Rooms

Very detailed rooms. Beautiful place. The woman who owns this new escape room was very passionate and thorough making this escape room facility. They were wonderful unique rooms (as she apparently made all of the puzzles, rooms, and Everything on her own!!!). Great area, easy to get to and easy parking The puzzles were detailed and very enjoyable. I love lots of locks, the update and new puzzles that had a nice mix of electronic and hands-on effects. I am an escape room junkie and they had a lot of new fun and well, engineered puzzles and props. This escape room group will end up being a big success. They had botched and madame rooms open so far. I personally loved botched. Both rooms were highly engaging and made you think but also fun and unique. Well done ladies and will see you when your next three rooms open in the next coming months.

Break from Reality seems to be the newest (at the time of this review) escape room addition to Fairfax and what a GREAT addition it is!! We had the pleasure of playing "Botched". When we made the reservation, we were looking for something that fit a specific time and wasn't too concerned with the theme. And to be completely honest, if I was picking off of themes, this probably wouldn't have been a top choice for me. And luckily it worked out the way it did because the room was AMAZING!! The owners (sorry we didn't get your names) are two sisters that have a passion for creating a great experience. Their attention to detail, creativeness, and puzzle logic is top notch. They are in the process of opening more rooms, and we are super excited to come back and play them all. My recommendation, PLAY HERE!! You will be met with people who have a true passion about creating a wonderful experience from the moment you walk in till the moment you leave!!

The Madame Belladonna was so much fun. It’s challenging but with just enough hints to get you through it, IF you work as a team. I like this escape room experience a lot. The manager was also very sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back!!

This escape room was such a great experience! The room itself had fun details that really added to the illusion of the story. I am a novice escape room goer but my group is pretty seasoned and we all had a fun time solving the puzzles. Its never really expected but the owner was very attentive and kind and I really love to support a business like that!

We had a blast! We did the Botched room with four adults and four kids. The puzzles were challenging but appropriate for our group (we are an experienced escape room crew). Our host was very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend overall, we'll be back!
