Environment: Brighton Asylum Escape Room is situated in a large venue with the potential for cool and creepy experiences. The building lights are often turned off in some rooms, such as "Slaughter Landing," which is reported to enhance the overall eerie atmosphere. However, due to the number of people in certain areas, some visitors have noted frequent stops and a "Disney style operation," which occasionally takes away from the fluidity and potential scariness of the experience.

Features: The main features of Brighton Asylum appear to be its large size and the variety of cool and potentially frightening experiences it offers. One specific room, "Slaughter Landing," is highlighted as amazing and quite creepy. The attraction seems geared towards those who enjoy horror and immersive environments, similar to avid horror movie and haunted house enthusiasts.

Services: While specific services aren't detailed beyond the escape room experiences themselves, one reviewer suggested that having the operators dressed up and more integrated into the attraction could enhance the chills and thrills. They also recommended a "creepy hype man" before entering. It is implied that the staff manages the flow of people through the attraction, which can sometimes lead to stops that disrupt the immersion.

"Slaughter Landing" is specifically recommended as an amazing and very creepy room. However, potential visitors should be aware that the operation can sometimes feel crowded and less fluid, which might impact the scare factor for some. It is strongly advised that little children should not attend due to the potentially frightening nature of the attraction. Local users who enjoy horror and immersive experiences might find Brighton Asylum to be a worthwhile visit, despite the reported issues with flow due to crowds. It was a great local attraction! The place is huge & has a lot of cool experiences. However, the few things that took you out of the experience were the frequent stops and Disney style operation due to the amount of people in a certain area. If it flowed more fluidly I might have been scared. (I'm an avid horror movie & haunted house buff) I still enjoyed my time. Tip: if the operators could be dressed up too and make them more apart of the attraction, you would get more chills & thrills. Highly recommend a creepy hype man before you go in. As it was I don't recommend little children attending. I was surprised to see parents bringing a 5year old. Needless to say they had to leave the attraction.

Omggg I played slaughter landing and it was AMAZING!!! The room is quite creepy and the building lights are turned off but I believe it adds to the affect more. Favorite room there by far, I’d recommend it!

Hands down our FAV escape room! The first one we did was the tombs and it was so so good that we ended up coming back every other weekend and did all their rooms! Very well made rooms and challenging enough. Highly recommend! Can’t go wrong with anyone!

I unfortunately cannot recommend this place. We were very excited to come and drove all the way from NY to experience the escape room and axe throwing. 1. The escape room. We weren't told about how to reset the lock and even after we attempted the correct code multiple times, it did not work. The worker had to come in and even he had to try it multiple times before it worked. One of the steps in the tunnel did not work and caused confusion. You can hear clues being given to other rooms which caused confusion. Overall, it was just not a good escape room experience (and we've been to multiple). 2. Axe throwing. This is where our group just had enough - after the bad experience with the escape room, the axe throwing was just unacceptable. All of us have been axe throwing multiple times in multiple different locations and we have never, ever been to one where 1) the axe was so blunt most of us were unable to get any to stick. We even went up to the board to try to test it and it still wasn't sticking. 2) the axes would ricochet back across the room, way past the line - which is a huge safety hazard that we have never ever experienced at other locations. When we had enough of the terrible axe throwing experience and wanted to talk to a worker, we had to walk around and try (unsuccessfully) to find someone. What if someone had gotten hurt? Or just needed help? The owner that we had to reach out to for a refund for the unacceptable experience wasn't even there at the venue but told us how we were completely wrong, tried to give us an over the phone tutorial and tell us that his employees are not trained and do not know what they're doing. The employees, to their credit, did tell us that they had multiple complaints on the axe throwing and the owner had ignored all the feedback. Not For nothing, even the group next to us had told us that they were not able to stick any axes and had difficulty with it as well. Lastly, the owner had offered 50% off but instead just refunded 34% of the package escape room and axe throwing deal. Then told us we were the ones lying...? It was honestly just a combination of bad set ups and even worse customer service on the part of the owner (you could tell the employees were just trying their best).
