Brown's Amusements
REVIEWS
None of the workers speak English so trying to communicate is difficult at best. My youngest is 41 inches. Thet have the rides set up so anyone under 42 must ride the kiddie rides only which is fine but my oldest is 8 and apparently too tall for the kiddie rides. Most of the kiddie rides do not list a maximum height so we didn't even know he couldn't ride until after waiting in line. When I told the worker there is no maximum height posted he wrote it with a sharpie "maximom" at the top of the sign. I don't know why our county continues to hire this group for our fair every year. Speaking English should be a requirement when you are working customer service jobs in America. Also forgot to mention I experienced many workers on their phones not doing their jobs. One worker even made us wait 5 minutes to open the ride while he sat there on his phone the whole time. All other rides were open and it was midday. There was no valid reason, that I could see for him to not open the ride. Seemed like he just wanted a phone break.

This company has terrible business practices. They are a white owned business with only non English speaking Hispanics working for them. They operate the rides and they don't understand any questions asked of them. My daughter had a low sugar and not one person working understood what I was saying. They charge 3 dollar every time you use a debit card to purchase things. I bought tickets and they wouldn't let my kids ride because of height requirements and would not issue a refund. Spent 150 dollars and was very unhappy. Do not go here. There traveling carnival in Las Vegaa is the one I went to.

Very unfriendly for a “family entertainment” business. Would give 0 stars if I could. The ride attendants were rude and uncaring. One of them yelled at me and my 2 year old in line for the Farris Wheel. I was waiting for them to come accept my card and let me through the gate, they just motioned for me to hurry up and walk through the closed gate. One of them said “give me card”, scanned it, and motioned for me to get in the ride. Extremely unprofessional and unkind.

What’s the point in purchasing a wrist band for unlimited rides then getting to the ride and having to pay an additional $3 for certain rides? $3 to use your debit card. Also the fresh squeezed lemonade is good ol fashioned country time lemonade and charge me $18 for 2 lemonades. The real lemons around the stand though are nice props. Below are some pictures of the worker getting ready to stomp on the country time can and kick it under the skirting. Greed gets ya no where. You reap what you sow. I would also leave zero stars if I could.

Charged our card for a ride, then made us get off without getting to ride. No refund offered. No one speaks English and they super rude. My daughter is 42 inches tall at the time of our visit, most of the rides had inconsistencies with their signs and the operators hardly let her on any rides despite being tall enough. This is probably the trashiest, most ghetto carnival with kit rides that I've ever been to.
