Cantiague Park
REVIEWS
Nicely sized park for a good walk. They need to replace some of the signs which are way too faded. By the chess tables and other courts, the entrance way rocks are torn up or missing and it can be very dangerous, be careful! Overall, it's like a smaller Eisenhower Park.

Great fields, easily accessible from Hicksville train station — 7 min scoot for the 10-year-old (!) — and yet everybody drives.

Clean park and well distributed. It's a bit far from where we live but worth the drive if you need the space.

I've been going to Cantiague park since 1970. The ice rink was my second home. Renting the rink at 2:00 in the morning .... great memories. I was 16-17 at the time but I remember dealing with the facility manager Wally, super nice friendly gentleman. Watching the Koho American hockey team bully the Nassau community college team, oh man that was crazy. Anyways a great park, from softball, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, basketball, tennis, handball, miniature putt putt & golfing WOW. Summer pool with a fun slide fantastic. Playgrounds and picnic areas. Very well maintained, super clean, secure and safe. Two large parking lots well lit. No concession stand other than the one in the rink which is seasonal. Food trucks during the summer. The only activity missing is an enclosed Dog Park, who knows maybe in the future. Thank you Nassau 🙏

This is a very underrated Nassau County Park, especially if you utilize the County Leisure Pass. Their pool is outstanding. It has a diving pool with a high diving board and low diving board. It has two water slides for anyone 48 inches tall or above. It has a splash pad for the younger children as well as 2 foot wading pool. It has lap swimming and a larger pool for stronger swimmers. Cost is $10 per day for adults, $6 for kids. The park also a 9 hole golf course, driving range and mini golf course. It has batting cages and several turf baseball fields. It also has indoor ice skating and a small outdoor playground. So much stuff to do here for all four seasons.
