Carowinds

A small amusement park and only 2 major roller coasters were open mostly baby rides were open on new year's day, plus the weather was beautiful there's no excuse for the rides to be closed. We paid $45 online and $30 for parking, super expensive for nothing 😔

Family reunion time! We drove in from AK, TN, TX, and NC. The parking was easy and the entry in to the park was simple. Make sure you purchase tickets on line it will save you money and time. There were six of us and we had all different likes and excitement levels. Ages ranged from kid, adulting-teen, adult-with motion sickness issues, and mid-life crazy. 😄 the area was very clean and maintained. I rode nine roller coasters and by far my favorite was the Fury. We also visited the water park and found it equally fun and refreshing. The food was typical fair but it was good. Don’t bring cash, card is the preferred method. However if you do bring cash there are ATM-type machines that will convert you dollars to a card. I found the employees were generally pleasant and some were funny. The overall experience was memorable! I’ll be back if ever in the area again.

I went to Winterfest and it was great! The Christmas decorations were stunning!! And the Fury roller coaster was the most exciting, I recommend it if you like high-speed thrills.

The Christmas theme light at Carowinds ticket 30$ and parking 30$. It’s nice little town. Few show we went to see.

Winterfest was great! All the holiday shows were still going on. The kids ever able to ride most rides with less than 15 min wait. Wish the park hours were 5-11 instead of 5-10
