Carowinds Theater

The theater has Broadway style shows that are on average 30 min. The seats are comfortable. We love the Tinker Toy Factory show at Winterfest!

Tinker’s Toy Factory is a family favorite every WinterFest. Broadway style and quality of the performers, although the changed plot last year and for this year (the spirit meter is low because Santa sprained his back) sends a poor message to kids that one’s level of Christmas spirit is tied to physical health (old plot was tied to Tinker’s feelings). Plenty of wheelchair-accessible seating although it is only at one level and about 2/3rd of the way back. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start of the show and theater can fill up on Saturdays.

The performers were excellent. The theater was large with plenty of seating. A very fun show for everyone.

Kids had to take a bathroom break and the workers said we could come back in. Nope, doors are locked after the show starts and there is no one to let you in. Also, I know plenty of people no longer care about COVID, but they completely pack you in together and you have no choice where you sit.
