Pretty chilly in the caves, so wear long sleeves and leggings! And wear tennis shoes! The caves were stunning! Went on the Haunted Tour. Nothing spooky happened, but the tour guide was exciting. You do have to watch your head because the tunnels get narrow and short. I would not recommend a bun, but a low ponytail could be safe; your hair will snag on the rocks. The lanterns were actually tin buckets with oil burners. The caves do have the aroma of wet stalagmites, so if you don't like that smell, you're weird (kidding). You will see your breath down there! But it was very nice down there; absolutely stunning.

Had an amazing time at the Haunted Lantern Tour today. Lots of parking, easy access, cool gift shop. Our tour guide Nina was absolutely rad and really made the whole experience even better. She was so engaging and knowledgeable, and shared a ton of old timey gossip and history that fit the spooky mood. The caves are awe-inspiring, especially by lantern light. The whole experience was totally worth it - 10/10 recommend taking your friends / family / anyone visiting here

We had a memorable time on the Haunted Lantern Tour here. Our guide, Colton, was engaging and knowledgeable about the cave’s history. The stories were fascinating and the creepy, dark cave speaks for itself. We loved blowing out the lanterns and feeling the uncertainty and mystery of the complete darkness. Great facility overall and magnificent views.

We had an amazing time at Cave of the Winds! The experience was a perfect mix of fun, adventure, and learning. Our tour leader, Ross, made the visit truly memorable. He is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating details about the caves that made the tour even more engaging. Ross also has a great sense of humor, which kept the group entertained throughout the tour. If you’re planning a visit, I highly recommend asking for Ross as your guide. He’ll make sure you have an unforgettable experience while learning about the wonders of this incredible site! Thank you, Ross, and Cave of the Winds, for such a fantastic adventure!
