Chestnut Hill Escape Room

I had the pleasure of bringing youth from my job to the escape room here in Chestnut Hill yesterday. It was my first escape room I’ve ever attended and for the youth as well. James was an amazing host and added onto the energy as we worked together to solve the mystery. The room set up was great (don’t want to give up any spoilers). Before entering the room we were given an intro by James that set the tone and had us all eager to solve the mystery. It was simply amazing seeing my youth work together. I would recommend this place for family and adults. The area is great and is pretty calm atmosphere.

We booked the Shady Hat room for mine and my brother's birthday. It was 8 of us. We had a Fantabulous time. It was so much fun! Our host was so sweet and so very nice! I would definitely recommend Chestnut Hill Escape Room! I would suggest that you leave plenty enough time to look for parking because it's tough trying to find parking.

We came here to do the Hat Shop as a family (7 members) between Christmas and New Years 2019 and had an absolute blast. Our guide, James, was knowledgeable and patient with our group of mostly first timers to the Escape Room experience and gave us a comprehensive rundown of what to expect and prepare us for the experience. The room itself was cleverly designed with almost every clue being both completely obscured and yet right in the open which made it perfect for those with a keen sense of observation. The one hour time frame was just about right as we were able to figure it out with only the slightest assistance from James which made it feel well earned but just having him there in case you were really stuck was comforting and should be very useful for those afraid to try an escape room for the first time. I would strongly suggest this adventure to others, especially as a group/family activity as it is quite the value for spending some quality time with those we love. Five stars out of five, highly recommended for all!

We were looking for a new escape room challenge for our family and chestnut hill escape room (shady hat shop) did not disappoint! We loved having James as our guide. He was encouraging, but didn’t give too many clues. This was a fun and challenging room to escape- lots of clever clues that our experienced escape room family appreciated! Thanks James!

I went with a group of kids as a trip for my job and this was a blast. The guys who took care of us, James, was friendly and helpful and created a fun experience for a pretty rambunctious group of 3rd graders! The room itself was really well done and clever! I won't give out any spoilers but I def felt like being in a real life Scooby Doo scenario! It's located in a great part of town so you could easily make a fun night of it with friends! This was my first escape room experience and.honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better place to start.
