T Trains are Cool

Great and barely any line during the day. Just that when it becomes Terror Twister 2 it turns into a 25 minute wait time for this great ride.

Chubasco is just your classic spinning cups ride. During the warmer days of summer the building that is in can provide nice shade from the hot sun, but as the days get colder and Fright Fest begins, this ride turns into such a fun ride in the dark, as they really deck it out with flashing lights, techno music, and mist machines.

Time travel to 2087 with the speeds you're going on the teacups. You go so fast that you get a headache. It also duplicates items, as my party found $20 on the ground outside. The stronger the spin, the more you spin! Would recommend.

Chubasco is a staple of our Six Flags visits. Each time we try to spin the cup with all our might. It’s only appropriate to yell out “Chubasco!” once your belongings stick to the walls. The best is when you get going so fast it’s hard to keep sitting up straight. Proper footing is required for maximum velocity.

Are you ready to spin? If you said yes, then this is the place to toss your cookies. I highly recommend you don't ride this ride, if you are on the dinning plan. It's a combination that doesn't mix well together. I use to be an expert at the spinning tea cup rides. In fact, I would go so fast that I couldn't even tell which way I was rolling or even focus my eyes. I feel like those days are behind me but I have one problem. I got my little one hooked on this ride and I taught her how to really spin the ride fast. Now with every passing year, she gets a little more stronger and every year we spin a little more faster. When I got off the ride today, I needed a few minutes to collect my bearings. Needless to say, I was a little dizzy. The ride consists of 12 giant rotating cups and you will be extremely mixed up, once you ride it. Try and follow my explanation or the physics of the ride. The platform of the ride has a double motion and then the rider can spin the cup So basically you are spinning on top of a spin and then spinning. Confused? You should be because this ride will scramble your brain. It is like having astronaut training at a theme park. This ride is also transformed into a new ride during October's Fright Fest. They hang black tarps all around the ride, bring in a strobe light, play loud metal death music and pump in a fog machine. If the normal ride didn't make you sick, then this Halloween version will drop you off on death's door. The ride is located in the Southwest Territory near the Raging Bull and the Viper. The Chubasco first opened in 1996 and it is here to stay. The manufacturer is Zamperla Rides from Altavilla, Italy. A maximum of 5 riders can fit in each cup, unfortunately the line can move extremely slow. At maximum speed the Chubasco should move about 650 riders per hour. I do find that hard to believe. Typically there is only one operator and it's a lot of work for them to unload and load the whole ride, while going through their safety checks. I wish I could still say I am "King of the Spin" but those days are behind me. I still ride this for my little one but I don't know how many more years I've got left in me. I truly know what it feels like to ride in the rinse cycle and I don't like it. I am not sure if I can take the triple spin any more but I'll keep pushing on and taking one for the team.
