Classen-Steubing Ranch Park
REVIEWS
The park is one of the newest in San Antonio. The playground just opened this weekend. This playground is a game changer. The playground is called Michael, landing after a tragic accident to a child. The flooring has a very thick and soft rubber material. The playground has all kinds of slides, swings, and so much more! Parking is free, and so is the playground! Baseball field , soccer field, and hiking trails are all here. It is an amazing place for fun!

The park is a beautiful addition to San Antonio, everything seems to be great, close bathrooms and shade. But lacks Lights for when it starts getting dark, and lacks benches for the parents. Seems like the park its meant for daytime only and as soon as it gets dark you have to leave. More lights and benches and it would be the perfect park!

A good start. Lots of potential to continue to add more amenities. Need an overall park map at the main structure. The ball fields need dugouts, lights. Add a 1/2 court basketball court. The paths need more signage, distance markers, plant ids, Connect its trails to Stone Oak park?

Absolutely love this new playground! It’s the perfect spot for kids of all ages to have fun and burn off energy. The equipment is brand new, safe, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of variety to keep everyone entertained—slides, swings, climbing walls, and even a toddler-friendly area. The layout is spacious, so it never feels crowded, and the soft, padded flooring adds extra peace of mind. Parents will appreciate the ample seating and shaded areas, plus there’s even a clean restroom nearby (a huge bonus!). The park surrounding the playground is beautifully landscaped, making it a great spot for picnics or just relaxing while the kids play. It’s clear a lot of thought went into creating this space, and it’s already a hit with families. Highly recommend checking it out—you won’t be disappointed!
