Cluville Kids Escape Room Scottsdale

My family and I were so excited to try out this experience based on the ratings. The videos and website look amazing! For a family of four it cost us $143 to do the detective themed room. Very expensive compared to other escape rooms, but with the ratings, I was very excited. You are assigned a guide who goes with you from room to room. You are given one hour to make it through three rooms using clues, deciphering, and critical thinking skills. The concept and the idea are pretty great, although I would still say the price was astronomical for what you get. Probably would have made more sense if it was about half the cost or if they threw in two games. I will say I was completely frustrated and disappointed that our guide was constantly giving us clues and pointers WITHOUT ASKING. I wanted time to bond with my kids, and for them to figure things out, not to be given the answers at the slightest indication of confusion or stumped thinking. She would literally not stop telling us what key, prop, or clue to use next. It completely ruined it for me. We completed the adventure in 30 minutes. Soooo disappointing!! Pros: super awesome idea for families, great puzzles, great rooms, great props, great themes, friendly staff, clean. Cons: very expensive for one game (3 rooms), having a guide who will direct your every move and give you the answers.

8 year old loved the Wizard room. Practically solved it by himself. It was great to see him bouncing around the room searching and finding clues. Will be back for more. Great Fun!

We did the detective room and let me say this was well worth it. Trevor, the game master, was super helpful when asked and knew exactly when not to answer. Super fun!!! Too bad they don’t have these back home!!! If I’m ever in the area again I will gladly do another one!

We just completed the Secret Potion room with two adults and two kids (10 and 6). Such a great experience. It was just challenging enough for the kids and the adults had a great time helping them through. Trevor helped us in our room and was great. Highly recommend!
