Relaxing, and slow. It's a fine way to end the day at the park, and a few weeks ago, the brought back the iconic "Carousel Song" after a few years of it being absent, and which it played/plays at closing as it had been since 1976.

Stay sway from this place. It's full of scummy kids who come to start fights, jump in line, answer cause trouble. This park has gone so far downhill since back in the 90s. Just too much scum hanging around. Certainly not a family fun park.

This ride is the show piece of Six Flags Great America. When you walk in the front gates you can not help but see the double decker carousel. As a family we always ride it twice, once to start our day and again to end our day. It has become a family tradition. So next time you are at the park make sure you give it a spin and ride on a piece of history. It's old school rides like this that made amusement parks fun in the first place. Who knows you at even start a family tradition!
