All you need to know is it’s free (I highly recommend making a donation anyway). The garden rooms are amazing, the bonsai and Japanese garden are amazing. The gift shop is also amazing. I usually stay away from the animals as it sucks to see them in captivity but nonetheless it’s there if you’re into it.

I have love Como Park ever since I was a child, and yesterday was just as lovely and enjoyable as I remember. We concentrated first on seeing the Conservatory, which one of my friends had not seen in many years. It was so full of beauty, with the Japanese bonsai, the fern room, the area with the long pond ringed with flowers, and as well, the newer section were the Sloth was sleeping. Then we are a great lunch, I had a grilled chicken sandwich, and a huge plate of wonderful French fries. The gorilla exhibit, as always, delivered! For some reason I always end up there at nap time, but we saw a variety of marsupials, orangutans, the gorilla's, and more! Outside, we couldn't miss the giraffes and big cats, foxes, and the duck pond, where the flamingos really caught our eye. Plan for fun! Enjoy the park setting, too!

It's a great free zoo. Because it is free it was pretty busy on a random Thursday morning. The animal enclosures were really nice and this was the first zoo I had been to where the animals actually moved around and made noise. The food was crazy expensive but good. Highly recommend the mini donuts. Again expensive but made fresh. There was also a dinosaur exhibit going on which was fantastic and well worth $10. My 4 year old loved it.

Decided to revisit the Como Regional Park and Marjorie McNeely Conservatory in the heart of St. Paul yesterday and explore what flowers and water lilies might be in bloom. So glad I did. Beauty everywhere both inside and out on a glorious August day. Was delighted to see a Mallard hen and seven ducklings wading in the lily pond with so many visitors nearby. A real Twin Cities gem and free to the public. Check it out! 💙

First time visiting, and I loved it!!! I was surprised there was no entry fee and the cleanliness of the entire park. The weather was perfect (being from Texas), and I was able to really enjoy walking around the premises. I totally recommend stopping by. Oh and they have a 🦥!!!!!!!
