Such a fun place to visit! (Side note: if you or your kids are sensitive to loudish noises, it's advisable to bring some foam earplugs or something as the horn for the trolley can be loud/ startling) I took my kids for the pumpkin patch trolley ride event. We booked tickets in advance online. The entire museum was decorated for Halloween, which I did not expect, but was very pleased to see. Inside the museum they had little cards about local spooky ct legends, including some I'd never heard of before. Checking in was easy. We got our pumpkin patch tickets and headed to the trolley. The ride is short and sweet, but very scenic. The pumpkin patch for the kids was very nicely set up. The museum itself is very cool, with multiple cars you can go into and look around, and several others available for viewing. There is also the fire museum in the building behind the trolley museum, which is included with your ticket. You can see all kinds of historical fire trucks and equipment. My kids (almost 14 and 9) had a blast. The gift shop is nicely set up and extremely reasonable. No price gouging, and a ton of actual train/ trolley themed items. The museum itself is run by volunteers, which is so cool. Everybody there was welcoming and kind. Additionally, the museum has other holiday events. Currently, there's a "Curse of the Rails" event for Halloween if you want something spooky, and there looks to be a christmas event coming in December. Definitely planning to come back again.

It was nice, but I think they should have a little more they don't have any apple cider like the other place in North Haven they need a little more activity for kids and a little over priced for just a train ride and pick up a pumpkin and u done. Only kids can pick a pumpkin 🎃 when everyone should be able to for that price u can buy a pumpkin for 5 to 6 dollars

A cute and inexpensive stop on the way to our destination. You can hop on board trolleys from the past and take a quick ride down the track. The gift shop is beyond reasonable. My son was able to pick 2 items to keep him busy for the duration of our trip. The museum has a little dress up station, coloring tables, and wooden train set up for the littles. Great place for a picnic, and they host birthday parties in a private caboose. We also learned you can drive a trolley with a special paid reservation. The museum does holiday events for Halloween and Christmas. One guest told me the trolley will stop at a pumpkin patch where you are able to pick a pumpkin. I'm definitely going to look into making my boys a conductor ...

We had an amazing time here. The admission price was very reasonably for a family of 5, there were plenty of activities to keep kids entertained, and enough information and history to not bore the adults. The trolly ride was the highlight of the trip. Our ride was slightly shortened due to impending thunderstorms, but it did not diminish our enjoyment. We did not get to see the Fire Museum due to rain, but will have to come back again. I highly recommend taking the time to come out and visit. Great hidden gem!

We had a lovely time at the Trolley Museum. It is a great place for young kids, since it is small and Littles don't have a huge attention span. My kids loved exploring the old trolleys, wearing costumes, doing crafts, playing with leggos in the theater, and best of all was the trolley story time. The old fire trucks accross the way were neat too. All of the staff and volunteers were very friendly too.
