Courtyard Fort Walton Beach-West Destin

The front desk staff members were amazing as soon as I stepped off the elevator. I was greeted with pleasant warm smiles. I was there for my birthday and they went above and beyond. They had a gift for me, upon arrival, and ohh how I was fighting back happy tears at the desk. The check-in was smooth. The room was nice and clean. I was able to look at the beach before going into my room and also had a view from my window. However, the room smelled alil like mold. But overall, the stay GREAT thanks to the staff for the top tier HOSPITALITY. Cannot wait to bring my family back

We had cockroaches. So it's not very clean. No safe in the room. Carpet and kind of gross. We told the staff and they did nothing about it. Said nothing they could do. It's less than a two minutes walk to the beach. The pool looks bigger in the pictures but it's only 5ft but not crowded so good for quiet times. It's not dirty but not super clean. The pizza place there at the pool is very good. Parking is free but tight and the elevator was down well one of them was so not horrible. We got into our room we had a flood in our bathroom from the shower and then the cockroach so it was a little less than pleasant I would recommend finding somewhere else or check the room beforehand.

We had a mini-vaca here before I start a new job, and the Staff made our stay so fun! They all went above and beyond to make sure we have a great stay! Nicole & Charlie at the front desk were outstanding, Nicole gets a gold star for excellent customer service! John, Juan, and Linell were super nice, & helpful. Ameria, we think thats her name for great servuce too. Excellent restaurant service from the best waitress ever- Kersha, & Best Hostess,Georgette. Sabrina at morning coffee station always had a happy face, never frowns or grumpy, that was appreciated in the A.M. Food in restaurant was EXCELLENT, pizza a pool pizzeria was great too. Jack the manager is very nice & loves his job helping making guests happy, as well as the server the other Jack. And I probably should hace mentioned this 1st because it's super-important...our room was as clean as you'd expect a Marriott Property to be. It was fantastic! Thank you to all the staff for helping my husband make this a wonderful beach mini-getaway before I start my new job! We WILL be back because of you and you're excellent service, cleanliness of rooms, and wonderful attitudes! Thank you all so very much! ~ Lisa Antoon

Just spent a week here, but I'm not sure I'll stay here again. I checked in early and was promised an upgraded room for the remainder of our stay since we arrived early and nothing else was available(after requesting early check in). One night service desk said we would be seapped the following morning, but the next morning workers were rude. Service was poor. I put a request in for a couple extra towels around 6pm and finally got a call at midnight saying they could bring them up. I requested room service and it said completed in the app, however nothing was done. Outdated elevator permits in both elevators. The best thing I can say is access to the beach is good and the bar and reastaraunt is nice.

Kam at the front desk was awesome, my booking had got messed up and was a wrong room when i came to check in, he fixed it on the spot and got it all done, house keeping was also great left the room messy and came back to a clean and neaty room. Location was a great spot right there with the italian restaurant on 1st floor and pizza bar by the pool on the beach! Parking was also convenient as well. No complaints!
