Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park

We had an excellent time with our family who were in town from Chicago. My grandson wanted a water park for his 8th birthday and this one was the perfect selection. We really appreciated the pass deal of $79 pp with our family of five. Our grandson absolutely lived his birthday surprise. Of course, everything is Disney quality, the most magical place on earth.

We went on a Friday when School was in session at the end of January. The lines were virtually non exisistant. The ski lift to get to the top of water slides was a real blessing. Saved us from hundreds of stairs. The food was not that great and overpriced but the drinks were good. If you love watersides this is a great park for you. So many watersides. Also has a wave pool and lazy river. I feel like the biggest drawback was the lack of shade around the lounge chair area. Most chairs had full sun all day. If you are the Mom at home base prepare to bake in the sun or get there first to claim one of the few shade spots. Overall a fun day for all ages.

Luckily visited on a rainy day so park was quiet. No queues on any rides. Lots for our grand kids to enjoy. Tube rides, slides, assault course over water, chair lifts, fast rides, family rides, lazy river. Something for everyone. Plus nice cold beer.

OMG this was the best day ever! The waterpark was basically empty apart from Brits because it was a measly 21 degrees Celsius (perfect British water park weather). Queue times were ridiculously short and we managed to see a 55 year old dude excitedly exclaim to his wife how much air time he got on the big slide was because of how heavy he was. Big day for the big kids everywhere

There's alot of fun to be had. Plenty of water rides and pools to just relax and have fun in the sun and water!
