We went during the Christmas week and we all enjoyed our time there. Definitely recommend paying a bit more for the preferred parking if you have little ones. The cinnamon bread was very very good while the other dining options were average. We like the train ride but I would recommend checking the schedule, we queued for an hour for the train thinking it wouldn’t take that long to get on. We spent a whole day there and we had a lot of fun!

We spend the whole day here. Went on New Year’s Eve, the whole place was beautifully decorated. Really enjoyed all the Dolly exhibits. There wasn’t much wait for any of the rides/exhibits if you planned correctly. Wait time for lunch was about 30 minutes but expected with being New Years and really popular eating establishment. Would highly recommend purchasing tickets ahead of time, arriving early and having a plan for the day so you know what wait times will be. Downloading the app and using it for planning really helped a lot! We had the cinnamon bread in the evening and it was absolutely delicious. Paired that with a cup of cappuccino or hot chocolate and it was the perfect match. The train ride was really cool and seeing the landscape during January was beautiful. Smoke was a little overwhelming on the train but I think sitting further back on the train would mitigate that. So much in the area to do as well. Very close to all the dinner shows they have to offer, as well as tons of shopping. Our 4 days stay was filled with Dolly inspired activities and we loved every minute. We will definitely go again next time we visit Tennessee!

We went during the perfect time the weekend after Christmas. Not too crowded at all. The lights were so beautiful, the rides were a blast, and I’m dreaming about the next time I can get that cinnamon bread. Highly recommend the train. It takes you all around the park, up the mountain, and is a great way to see everything.

We try and go to Dollywood every few years and went this year. We love the Christmas lights and the old time train! The food is also pretty good! You definitely have to try the cinnamon bread! It’s down by the grist mill! You’ll have to wait but it’s so good! I pre purchased my ticket before we got there. The season pass was on sale and came with a 2024 extra ticket so that’s what I bought. Some of the rides closed early because it was pretty chilly- that was kind of a bummer. But we still walked through and looked at all the lights! They had a light show in a few areas that was synced to music and even had snow fall! It was a good experience and would definitely go back! The season pass we got had parking included and got 15% off all purchases, it was a good deal to get one!

First time there, easy parking, tram from and to parking is easy. The price to enter was reasonable, the food was good, and the rides were fun. Some rides are dependent on the temperature 36 degrees or higher to operate. Park has an easy layout and has signs. All staff were nice and helpful. I would figure at least $50 a person for food if you eat twice and drink. I have been to a lot of theme parks and I will recommend this one. It was cold when I went.
