Dutch Wonderland Family Amusement Park

I took my 5yo and 2 1/2yo there in early July. We had such a wonderful experience that I know we would come back some day. First as a busy family, I appreciated the fact that we can use our ticket any day within the year. We had a last minute travel plan changes and we couldn't go to the park the day we wanted to. Varieties - we have been to three other parks before but this takes the gold as to the inclusive of age and heights of kids. There is something for every young age. There was also so much to do and the lines were not terribly long, average wait time for us was 15min. Though there was a lot to do, the park wasn't awfully big. That is a good thing for young kids that are not in stroller and parents pushing stroller. We were not too exhausted to go on more rides. The water park was fantastic! Lots of seating area for everyone.

This is a cute amusement park. There are plenty of fun rides for kids of different ages. We enjoyed some of the more low key attractions like the spinning tea cups and the train ride. We had all the food and games there. We visited on a super hot day, and the highlight of the trip was Duke's Lagoon. This is a huge outdoor water play / splash pad area.

Went for the first time with 3 adults and 4 kids and had a blast- kids ranging from 4 years old to 12 years old and there was something for everyone. Parking (even in the non-preferred) was very close to the entrance still and easy to navigate in and out of- although a little pricey in my opinion $20. The wait times on the rides were very reasonable and there is a great variety to choose from. At one point they even had a dance party with the dragon and princesses in costumes and a bubble machine! Although a lot of the concession stands sold your typical pretzels/ dippin dots/popcorn we did find some good spots (I’ll review those separately) but my fave was the pretzel at Penley’s Pub! I also liked how they scanned adults IDs and only allowed 4 alcoholic drinks per ID, no obnoxious drunks at the park that is geared to kids! We also had a baby with us that nurses and the nursing facility for moms was GREAT, very clean, had AC (nice break from outside), a changing station and two rooms with rocking chairs to nurse your baby! I was very impressed with the park overall and it was a nice way to spend the day!

Great place for young kids, better than six flags if you ask me. Many rides, we didn't even have time to get on all of them, decent food inside, really a fun day for kids. The water park was packed, more packed than the rest of the park, and ride lines, probably 10 min wait, which is bearable. Totally recommend!

A great park to visit with Family. Kids of all ages can have fun rides. There are quite a few family rides as well. We loved the sky walk, family rides, rail, Show. Sometimes online offers discounted price tickets, parking is $22 or $27.50 (opposite to main entrance). Food options inside the park is not so great, I would expect more options considering this as a family park. Plenty ice cream options 😄! Visit is worth the money and is recommended
