Escape It Houston

I have done escape rooms all over. This was on the more pricey side, and it was the worst escape room ever, bar none. The rooms were old medical offices. The doors were chained, like honest-to-goodness, legit chains on doors. Items had been so worn you could barely make the clues out. There were stickers saying not to touch items, then the item is needed to get to the next step. We touched said item, and employees came into the room; we stopped what we were doing to address said problem. The timer was still going, and we were reprimanded. How were we supposed to continue under those circumstances? We did, very gingerly, not knowing what would get us in trouble next. We were forced to leave our phones in lockers, even though, at multiple other escape rooms, that was never a rule. I am very uncomfortable with that. There were no clear instructions on where to start or, at multiple points along the way, what the next step should be, or at least leading us in the right direction. Again, so many of the objects in the room were just for decoration, when, in other escape rooms, that was never the case, and not to be touched. The room was full of useless, broken objects. There were countless 'do not touch/move' signs on things, even things you had to touch or move for the game

Me and my family did Ramseys Revenge, the decor was really impressive especially the first room. Very immersive! The staff was very kind! For those who don’t know, you can order drinks and get them served to you in the room while playing! 10/10

My family and I recently visited Texas for the holidays and booked a family activity that turned out to be a disaster from the start. Upon arrival, we were greeted by rude staff at the front desk, who spoke to us in a completely unacceptable manner. To make matters worse, one of the staff members followed us to the back area, continuing to harass us. We were taken aback by this treatment, especially since our only mistake was arriving on time instead of 15 minutes prior for directions. The no-refund policy prevented us from canceling our reservation. However, our guide was exceptionally kind and managed to salvage the experience.

DISAPPOINTED... We have been in a lot of scape rooms ll around Houston and this one is by far the worst. 5 people 30 min for $145.00 is a scam, the facilities are simples, the scape room is easy and overall EXPENSIVE, FOR THAT PRICE I WAS EXPECTING SOMETHING MUCH CHALLENGING, I DO NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.
