Escape Quest

I booked a room for Friday 2/14/25, arrived 10 minutes prior (like the email tells you to do), and the door was locked when I arrived. There was also mail jammed in the door frame, indicating no one had been there that day or recently. I waited a few minutes and called the phone number provided in the confirmation email a couple times. It rang for a long time. I was finally able to leave a voicemail saying I'm here. Didn't hear anything back right away. I even checked in with the shop owner of the leather goods store on the first floor, and he said that the escape room business seems to be manned less frequently that it used to be. We left and went to an escape room down the road (and had a great time). The owner of Escape Quest called me ~35 minutes after my booking was supposed to start and said he's there now. I said we're not planning on coming due to the tardiness and lack of responsiveness. Owner said I would get a refund same-day, and I still haven't received it yet. This felt very scammy, and I recommend against booking here.

Absolutely enthralled with their offerings! Our favorite so far was Pitfall, which challenged us experienced players and truly gave us the fun adrenaline rush we desired! Its also a lovely space and I highly recommend for big groups. We also tried Kings Ransom which was challenging and unique. Their clues and puzzles are unique and interesting for the stories!

Would not recommend at all. I would give 0 stars if I could. Nobody turned up for the game we paid for in advance and then when I tried to send the following email, the email was disconnected: Hi, We arrived for our escape room today and the doors to the place were locked with absolutely no notification of our room being cancelled. This is completely unacceptable as we paid in advance for our booking and now have nothing to show for it (and not for the first time even this week I see). This is essentially theft and really not a good look. I expect a full refund of the money we paid and if this is becoming a pattern, I recommend management doing something to resolve this. Regards (and not of the kind variety). Don't waste your time or money.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!!! Absolutely unacceptable. I made a group reservation at Escape Quest for six people, paid $250.85 in advance, and showed up on time—only to find the door locked and the place completely abandoned. No staff, no sign, no explanation. Just… nothing. This was especially devastating because my 6-year-old nephew, visiting from Connecticut, was beyond excited for his first-ever escape room experience—only to be met with sheer disappointment. We tried calling every number listed, but no one answered, and there wasn’t even an option to leave a message. After 20 minutes of frustration, we gave up. Thankfully, Escape Live down the street was not only open (imagine that!), but they were also amazing and able to accommodate us last-minute. When we told them what happened, they weren’t surprised—apparently, Escape Quest has a habit of randomly not showing up and leaving customers stranded. Save yourself the frustration and go straight to Escape Live instead. Escape Quest is unreliable, unprofessional, and undeserving of your time or money.

Went here with my 11-year-old daughter. We did the pitfall which is an eight out of 10. It was pretty challenging. They did give us some clues along the way. It was only the two of us and you’re allowed up to 10 people. If we had a couple more people we would’ve Escaped. However, with just the two of us, we didn’t quite make it. I think if we had another 10 to 15 minutes we would’ve. Overall the great experience love the atmosphere. The guy working there was super helpful and nice. We plan on going back there very soon. Actually want to go there today, but they are fully booked.
