Escape Room Adventures

We had a really fun time with the "Mysterious Disappearance of McGregor The Magnificent" room. We needed a few hints, but not too many. The host was very nice and attentive. We took our kids, the youngest is 10 and he was able to contribute and enjoy himself. We will be back to try the other rooms. Fantastic way to spend time together as a family.

As an escape room enthusiast, I thought I would try this place. There were just two of us and it was 130 on a Tuesday. I figured we could just pop in and try a room, since the website had five rooms available for the 230 slots. When I arrived, some guy working there informed me that a couple walked in just 15 minutes before we did and because he was the only one working, we couldn’t try a room. He even said he had to block the other four rooms online for the 230 booking slots. What?! They have five rooms you can try, but if one group comes in to try a single room the whole place shuts down?! I told him I used to manage an escape room and I would be responsible for 5 rooms at a time. I’m not sure if this is how the owner wants things done or what, but seems like a loss of a lot of money if you can’t have multiple rooms going at the same time. We decided not to come back and went somewhere else. Don’t trust their website if it looks like all the rooms are open, because one couple can shut the whole place down by playing a single room. We won’t be back.

OMG, I had an absolute blast! Drove up to Ft Myers from Naples because, let's be real, Naples is basically Disneyland for rich fat drunks and it’s like trying to find a sober person at Oktoberfest – impossible! LOL! But anyway, the escape room were super fun and so clever, I half-expected to find Einstein hiding in one of them! Can’t wait to go back and try another room. We totally rocked the Area 52 room like we were in an intergalactic game show! Mr. Alien was probably doing a little happy dance thanking us for his freedom!

We had a great time tonight doing the Mysterious Disappearance of McGregor the Magnificent challenge. This was my first time doing an escape room so I wasn’t sure what to expect but I thoroughly enjoyed this experience with my friends! All of the staff members were super friendly. I was so impressed by the decor in the room. There are so many clever details in this puzzle. I’m sure their other challenges are just as amazing. Will definitely be returning to find out!
