Escape Room NJ

I don't even know where to begin. The whole experience from start to finish was a massive disappointment. First, we were waiting in the cold outside the building waiting for the host to arrive. They specifically asked us to arrive 15 minutes early to be ready, however they did not show up until well after our scheduled start time. Next, we enter this dingy room and are asked to close the lockbox doors and basically help him set up the room. Looking around there are exposed wires and orange tape everywhere. He reads the intro speech off a wrinkled piece of paper with handwritten scribbles. Then, as we bumble through the escape room, it's wildly unclear what is part of a puzzle and what is not. Completely impossible to tell if anything is functioning correctly. The gaudy orange tape is used to indicate what elements are not to be touched, but even the intended items are obscure. Not because they were interesting or challenging puzzles, but because they seemed broken. Our group has done many, many escape rooms before....this was the least professional among all of them and a total rip off for what they charge. In the middle of our session, there was a sudden knock on the front door. Could it be a twist, a new puzzle element? Nope, our host had locked himself out and asked us to unlock the door for him. Finally, the last puzzle lock flat out did not work. The host informed us that it can be "finicky" and just said we won and that was it. Mind you, he already was cleaning up and resetting the room while we were still finishing up the final puzzles. Please don't be fooled by all the positive 5 star reviews that are posted; they are either fake or a completely different space than what we experienced!!

Very fun experience! We did the horror euphoria heist escape room and had a blast! Shout out to our game master Raquel! She was very nice and helped us throughout the experience. 10/10 would do again.

Nick from Pompton Lakes is was FABULOUS. My friends and I visited recently for a Bachelorette Trip (the bride is a great problem solver) - and with (10?) of us - it got chaotic, but he truly helped us when needed to sift through the chaos. What a fun experience! Thank you so much!

Amazing experience hard to find but once you get inside it’s very fun. Dean the dream helped us and made it out with 14 minutes left and did the bonus safe thing. Recommend with family and friends and Dean the dream was amazing and explained everything.

Amazing experience. Went with a group of 12 and Kevin was our host, he was so sweet, so helpful and guided us whenever we needed help or were at a stuck point. We were the first group to complete it for the day, but we couldn't have done it without Kevin's help and support- we all loved him.
