Escape the Island

Our family had a great time at Escape the Island! We escaped the storm of 1900. Even our two teenagers 13 & 15 enjoyed the challenge of solving the clues and the history base of the room.

We recently discovered escape rooms at the pirates museum and decided we really enjoy them so we googled escape rooms nearby and this place was just around the corner from where we were so we decided to give them a shot. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They have plenty of rooms and themes to choose from and they even have drinks for sale while you work on your rooms. We really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend!

When we called to ask if we had to reserve a room or could walk in they were very nice over the phone. They told us that walk ins are welcome and told us her favorite room for kids. We chose to do the CSI Galveston room. When we walked in the two workers there were welcoming and kind. She informed us about the multiple rooms that were available to go in at the time. Her name was Jamie. The room was fun and a perfect difficulty level. we enjoyed it the whole time. We definitely want to return and would definitely advise visiting. It was also an affordable family friendly experience.

Wow! What fun! We four adults enjoyed an hour plus! The puzzles were challenging for us first-timers, and we asked for help a few times because we were stumped! The CSI Room showed us that we certainly are no match for the real crime scene investigators! The staff was patient and very kind in assisting us as needed. It was a great time enjoyed by all. We shall return!

Glad it was 30-40% success for first timers, we had 4 in our group took us about 1 hour and 40 minutes and we had 3 more locks to get out of the first room, probably didn’t help 2 of the locks were swapped and they had to change them, we had to ask for assistance a couple of times (6,483).probably should have gave us some type of idea what to do. Also the room they communicated with us in the future maybe make a room like that, looks like a gamer room you put head gear on and maybe solve problems like that.
