Escape The Room Dallas Introduce

Welcome to Escape The Room Dallas, an engaging amusement center listed in our Theme Park Directory, located at 11661 Preston Rd #184, Dallas, TX 75230, USA. This venue offers various escape room experiences designed to challenge and entertain participants.

Environment: While the games and puzzles are described as great and cool, one reviewer noted that the room they played in was not fully reset. Another mentioned that the building needs some TLC. However, the front area reportedly has magazines, and an employee was commended for taking care of the plants outside.

Services: As a featured amusement center in our Theme Park Directory, Escape The Room Dallas is praised for its super nice employees, including game masters like Austin and Sunny. They do their best to provide a good experience despite being noticeably understaffed and looking tired. The staff is also reported to be helpful, and one reviewer mentioned receiving candy from the prize box. However, there was a significant issue reported by one customer where the staff themselves could not solve a puzzle in the room, and the room was not properly reset prior to their game.

Features: The primary features of Escape The Room Dallas are its themed escape rooms, which include great games and cool puzzles. However, one review highlighted a "big puzzle" in one of the rooms that takes the majority of the time to solve. The availability of a prize box with candy is also mentioned as a minor feature.

Promotional Information: One reviewer, despite not escaping and experiencing issues with the room reset and staff's inability to solve a puzzle, mentioned that the girls (staff) were nice, but they were hesitant to return. Another reviewer, who had a better experience with the game masters and enjoyed the puzzles, expressed a likelihood of returning. These mixed sentiments don't provide clear promotional information but suggest that the experience can vary. Local users considering a visit should be aware of potential issues with room resets and understaffing, which might impact the overall experience. Contacting Escape The Room Dallas directly at (972) 338-4510 or +1 972-338-4510 to inquire about the current status of their rooms and staffing levels might be advisable.

In conclusion, Escape The Room Dallas, as featured in our Theme Park Directory, offers engaging games and cool puzzles with super nice employees. However, potential visitors should be aware of reports regarding rooms not being fully reset and the venue being understaffed. The quality of the experience might depend on the specific room and the operational efficiency on the day of the visit.

Ummm. We did not escape. At all. The room wasn’t fully reset. The big puzzle takes majority of the time. Girls were nice but I don’t think I’d come back. Especially since they could not solve the puzzle in the room.

Great games, cool puzzles, employees are super nice but really understaffed. These kids look tired as hell, but they do their best to make it a good experience. My game was run by Austin and Sunny, I got some candy from the prize box, and I love the magazines at the front. Building needs some TLC, but Sunny told us she’s been taking care of the plants outside the unit and that’s awesome and I love that

I’ve been to a lot of different escape rooms, and this was by far the worst one. Some of the puzzles made no sense, the clues given by the host who did not even seem to be watching us were not helpful, and the rooms were extremely stuffy and smelled weird. So much of our time was wasted waiting for a response from the host and then having to explain to him which steps we had already done. No one in our group had a good time, and I would definitely not recommend anyone waste their money here.

I am genuinely shocked to see this place so highly rated as it was one of the top 2 worst escape rooms I’ve ever done (and I’ve done close to 60 at this point). First, the lobby smells like actual backed up sewage. Nobody at the front to greet you, you fill your waiver then a staff member comes to walk you to the room. He watched us set our stuff on a prop that turns out you need to open to get a critical item from and didn’t think to say “you might want to put your stuff over here instead”. This room had next to no clues and the clues that did exist made m absolutely no logical sense. We had to ask for a hint for almost every single lock. They make you wait TEN minutes to ask for the first hint, while we literally aimlessly wandered around the room with only ONE clue we had found still unable to figure out the dumb code which turns out we had solved after like 3 mins but the tech we typed it into was broken so that was ten minutes wasted. There was a magnet puzzle with the weakest magnet known to mankind which led to 15 mins of insanity inducing frustration about halfway through the room. Multiple times in the room I really wanted to walk out and just leave it was so frustrating and boring. I have solved over 50 escape rooms over the years, and I was with two guests who are also seasoned but not a single thing about this room made any logical sense. I cannot emphasize that fact enough. Never have I found myself just guessing totally random number combinations before (except in my number 1 worst room) but that’s the only way to solve the room here. Also there wasnt multiple things to be doing at any given point in time so I cannot imagine how a group of 10 could do this room without 9 people just standing around, even our group of 3 was 1 too many people. Nobody was even there at the end to take our photo, not that we wanted to remember the experience anyway. I will not be returning to play any of the other rooms, and I cannot even remotely recommend this place to anyone else.

It’s not as sophisticated as the Escape room in grapevine… thy used a radio to give hints and initially the frequency was set wrong. Also there was a slide puzzle 🧩 necessary to the game that was not solvable. What irked me the most was that after the game our game master chuckled at how we couldn’t get some clues. Not professional dude. Two of the puzzles were broke; a door wouldn’t open and the slide puzzle was unsolvable. If management invests in more sophisticated tech and trains employees to be kind and courteous, then I can see myself coming back for now. I’ll stick to Grapevine.
