10/10 would recommend We were a group of 5 and completed the "who stole Mona" escape room. Had a lot of fun at our first escape room ever. Our escape room master was Steven and he provided with hints and nudges at correct times and helped out a lot. Our game host was Mose she was welcoming and explained the rules of the room really well

This was one of the most polished escape rooms I've ever been to! There were even some puzzles that we new game mechanics for me which made it more exciting. Most importantly the puzzles all worked when assembled/attempted. It can be frustrating when puzzles are supposed to trigger an event but don't - that wasn't the case so it was refreshing! Mose and Avery did a great job. Escapology was very accommodating of my group beyond what I expected and it will be the first place I go next time I do an escape room.

We escaped from the Batman room. This was one of our favorite escape rooms. The puzzles were very fun and Steven even gave us an extra minute so we could escape. We had so much fun! Gabi was very friendly and Steven was a great puzzle master. Would definitely recommend!

My partner and I recently tried out Escapology at Tempe Marketplace, and while it was a fun experience overall, there are a few things to consider if you're going as a duo. We’ve attempted two rooms here so far—7 Deadly Sins and, most recently, the Batman room. Both times, we found ourselves getting really engaged with the puzzles and making solid progress, only to hit a major roadblock with the final puzzle, which felt like a time-sink designed to stretch things out. The rooms themselves are well-designed and immersive, with impressive attention to detail in the themes and clues. However, they definitely seem built for groups of three or more. With just two of us, it felt like we were constantly rushing to keep up with the clock. The ‘record completion times’ displayed are a bit hard to believe; they suggest people are getting through in 30 minutes or less, but unless they’re repeat players or have some prior knowledge, that seems nearly impossible with the way the puzzles are laid out. Overall, Escapology is a great place for a fun challenge, especially if you have a slightly larger group to tackle the rooms. But if you’re going as a pair, be prepared to work fast—and possibly come up just short, like we did.

We did the “Who Stole Mona” room with a group of 7 people of beginner to mid skill level (2 had never done an escape room, 3 had done a room once, and 2 had done 4 escape rooms). It was a lot of fun! The puzzles were challenging but not too frustrating. There were times that some of us kind of had to take turns because we were a larger group and a couple people felt a little left out at times, so I think it would have been better with 5 people—depending on ability/skill. Note that there is smoke for part of it for laser visibility. This part also requires someone slender who is able to slide across the floor and step over/between lasers, which is not really accessibility-friendly. And Mose and Easton did a great job getting us set up and being our game master!
