The gardens are beautiful and well-maintained with a great variety of plants. I was hoping for a bit more of a "wow" factor, but it was still a lovely visit. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. If you're looking for a peaceful walk in nature, this is a great place to go, but don't expect to be blown away.

This place is beautiful and full of wildlife! It's a great way to spend a winter day. My kids and I loved it. The butterfly exhibit is a must-see, and we even saw a crocodile in one of the lagoons!

This garden is absolutely gorgeous! We got in for free through the reciprocal admission program with our membership at a botanical garden in Ohio (be sure to check if you're eligible – it's a great way to save money!). But even if we'd had to pay the $25 admission fee, it would have been worth it. The garden is huge with so many beautiful and peaceful spots. We could have easily spent half a day here. Don't miss the misty rainforest – it's amazing!

This place is magical, but some areas were a bit dark, and the paths were uneven. It could be more ADA-friendly. Overall, it was a fun and fantastical evening.

This is such a cool place, especially in late October! The weather was perfect – nice and breezy with some clouds, which made for a great walk. The garden is full of massive trees, colorful plants, and serene lakes. The mangroves were really special, giving off a peaceful and secluded vibe. It's the kind of place where you can just wander around, enjoy nature, and feel totally relaxed. Whether you're into plants or just want to spend a chill day outside, this is a great place to explore!

I recently visited the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and was blown away by its beauty. The diverse collection of plants and flowers was truly impressive, and the serene atmosphere made it the perfect place to escape the city. I highly recommend it for nature lovers and anyone seeking a peaceful retreat.

The Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is a great place to spend a few hours outdoors. I particularly enjoyed the butterfly exhibit and the rainforest area. While some parts of the garden could be a bit crowded, overall it was a pleasant experience.

I've been to many botanical gardens, but the Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is definitely one of my favorites. The sheer size of the garden and the variety of plants make it a truly unique experience. I especially appreciated the knowledgeable staff who were always available to answer questions.

The Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is a hidden gem in Miami. It's a great place to learn about different plant species and appreciate the beauty of nature. I highly recommend taking a guided tour to get the most out of your visit.

It only took us 20 years to find this place, but we are very glad we did. It's 83 acres of splendor ... a conservatory and a botanical garden that began in the 1930s. The butterfly enclosure was wonderful. The Chihuly glass sculptures were an awesome surprise. The free 40-minute tram ride around the "lowland lakes" featuring an amazing variety of palm trees and bamboos was actually really cool. There's a cafe, a children's garden for climbing, and for a separate fee, they have a Night Garden light show if you have time (we didn't). As seniors with AAA, our entrance fee was under $21. If you live in the area, membership is probably worth it because they encourage family picnics.

Wonderful gardens! We booked tickets online and ended up spending over 3 hours here. There was lots to walk around and explore. We also did the tram tour which was super informative, I recommend doing that if you can! Everything was really well maintained and you can actually also see crocodiles which is pretty cool! Definitely recommend.

Just stopped in for a short visit/pit stop on our way from Miami to Homestead. We were there for about 2 hours but I could've stayed all day. Grounds were wonderfully maintained with LOTS of small groups of plantings as well as the larger overall trees. The kids were excited by the plethora of different lizards roaming about the grounds. The highlight of the visit was for sure the Wings of the Tropics butterfly house. One of the better ones I've been to, and one of the only ones that was included in the gate price instead of being an extra cost. And while it was certainly the most popular exhibit, it wasn't too crowded. We grabbed some iced teas at the cafe as well which were very good. 100% would return when I had a full day to spend.

Absolutely gorgeous botanical garden nestled in the heart of Miami’s Old Cutler Road, between Coconut Grove and South Miami. It is a very large property that offers a unique opportunity to view exotic plants, trees, flowers of various species all in a beautifully maintained environment with bodies of water, waterfalls, mists and so much more. Going in the Winter is ideal as it is an outside experience, obviously, and Miami’s humidity can be a bit much in warmer days. I think some people go there expecting who knows what, but this is a “botanical garden”, peaceful, quiet, which puts one in touch with nature. The paths are beautifully maintained, there are cafes and food trucks to take a break and grab a bite, and it is simply a different experience from the rest of what Miami has to offer. I was impressed and would highly recommended it if you have never visited this place. I will go back during the daytime to see even more!
