Flight of the Hippogriff

This is a great family/kids coaster! I really like the theming around it, universal did a great job with the scenery. Hagrid's hut is also very well done. The coaster itself has a fun layout, and has some decent forces to it. In my opinion, it's just too short, and it's hard to justify waiting 30 minutes for it. Definitely give it a try but don't go in with high expectations. It's for kids afterall

An underwhelming roller coaster with a tacked on theme of hippogriff. It was basically just a normal steel coaster so I recommend just going if the line up is short and skipping it otherwise. Ride is over quickly so line up moves relatively fast, but the entire line up is outside with nothing much to view other than the roller coaster itself.

Eh. Pretty underwhelming ride. Probably best for young kids. Short ride and slow speed. Wouldn't recommend getting into the line if the wait time is longer than 30 minutes. If you're in Wizarding World for thrills, Hagrid's motorcycle ride is stupendous and worth four times the wait time of this ride. The entire line for this ride is outside so if it's a hot, sunny day, be aware of that as well.

This ride is over pretty quick. It’s an outdoor roller coaster geared to the elementary school age kiddos. (Minimum height 39”). Don’t get me wrong, adults can ride it, I had fun riding it. Top speed is 29 mph. But it’s a short track and it’s over in two loops. As I was waiting in the queue, I heard so many riders ask “is that it?” when the ride ended, I asked the same thing. So knowing it’s a very short ride, it’s up to you to decide if it’s worth the wait The ride is actually a recycled roller coaster that was first used in 2008. The rollercoaster is designed to look like a hippogriff made out of straw. There are two line queues. The non express pass line passes next to Hagrid’s house. Listen up, you might hear Fang. The hippogriff is sitting outside of the house in the pumpkin patch. As you ride, you can view the snow capped Hogsmeade Village and Hogwarts Castle.

This is a very short ride but it's not like the worst or best ride at Universal Studios. If I had to compare, it's basically like the Go Coaster at Disneyland. We didn't have to wait long in the line, like it was basically under 5 minutes. They advise not to wear sunglasses or hat but I wore my sunglasses and didn't have any issues.
