FlyOver America

This was such an incredible experience! My friend flew in from Arkansas to Minnesota, and we spent the day at the Mall of America. FlyOver America was the one activity I knew we absolutely had to do—and it exceeded all our expectations! We had CBD gummies beforehand (highly recommend 😂), which made it feel even more like we were truly flying! The wait time was surprisingly short, especially considering it was the holiday season, and the mall was packed. If you have visitors from out of town, this is a must-do! It was the highlight of our day at MOA. Through January 2, 2025, FlyOver America transforms into a magical winter wonderland for the holiday season. Guests get to help Santa search for his missing elves during an exhilarating flight across America and onto the North Pole. This festive experience takes your holiday traditions to new heights! Holiday visitors will sit in a suspended chair, feet dangling, in front of a massive, four-story spherical screen. Special effects like wind, mist, and scents, combined with the chair's motion, make it feel like you’re soaring alongside Santa. It was truly magical! If you’re visiting Minnesota, FlyOver America should definitely be on your must-do list. The attraction is easy to find, simple to navigate, and worth every penny. Our ride lasted 20 minutes and was worth every second. Highly recommend for fabulous entertainment! Great gift date night idea! Pair it with going to eat at Cedar and Stone for a delicious meal and cocktails!! They also rent it out for business events team building and employee appreciation days! 5 stars!

This is an amazing experience (so I was told)! If you are at all someone who struggles with motion sickness, I would suggest not purchasing a ticket or perhaps taking a Dramamine. I barely made it to the bathroom, and unfortunately did not enjoy the flight as I had to keep my eyes closed for 80% of the ride. My son and husband were in awe though so I’m glad they enjoyed it. Worth the money for a spectacular, simulated view!!

Best experience ever! What a fun ride they put together for Christmas- I have done this 3 times now, and it's an absolute delight of a ride/show! Kids, teens, parents, grandparents- you will all love this ride! I have yet for one person to dislike this! Great job on this MOA!

I’ve done the ride 3 separate times and it’s a blast every single time… it’s almost therapeutic in way as you glide gently over beautiful scenery with a few water mists as you fly over water, and a floral scent as you fly over Hawaii… just amplifies the experience. Everyone I’ve taken on the ride with me has come out with amazement, so I consider it a win! I however, hate that it’s $20 for less than 20 minutes of enjoyment, as a local Minnesota resident I’d be here weekly if it didn’t cost so much and end so quickly… I’d love to see some sort of season pass or punch card program for locals or even a discount of some sort. Also, while yes you fly over Minneapolis… I feel like there should be more of Minnesota since it’s located in Minnesota…. The North shore would be an incredible addition! Or maybe offer a longer flight for true enthusiasts. I’m sure I’ll be back to fly again, I’d just love to see it extended or maybe cheaper.

Hugely love this place. The ride is super cool. Never had any troubles. This was our second time for my son and I in a span of 3 years. It definitely is a must if you're going to MOA. Definitely recommend. And my son and I would go again. Loved it! Pretty neat!
