Vantastic family friendly regional park with all the bells and whistles. Clean, well maintained and very large. Featuring ball fields, batting cages, amusement park, ponds, walking and biking paths and more. Parking is plentiful and large enough for any size rig or RV. I had full bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming.

Freestone District Park is definitely a nice visit for everyone and anyone who wants a nice quiet stroll around the lake, to practicing at the batting cages. There truly is so much to do here! They have jungle gyms/playgrounds for the kiddos, baseball fields, sand volleyball, a skatepark, basketball courts and even a cute little amusement area. I am truly quite impressed with how well they have maintained and kept the park clean after so many years of visiting it. I would highly recommend spending your day here and even bringing the pup!

Freestone Park is one of my favorite places in Gilbert. I love its mix of playgrounds, wide-open spaces, and trails. My kids adore the train ride, and we often bring lunch to enjoy under the shaded pavilions.

Had a great time at Freestone District Park. Plenty of opportunities to walk and see some wonderful nature. Activities abound for children, including several play areas and a lovely train ride and carousel. Also, there is a skatepark, batting cages, and tennis and basketball courts. Gilbert is a wonderful place, in general, and it is obvious that the town takes its residents and visitors seriously by providing an ample supply of things to do. Visit and enjoy often.

A Perfect Day at the Park I recently visited the park, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The scenery was breathtaking.The ducks were adorable, waddling around, and the birds seemed so happy, filling the air with their cheerful songs. Despite a birthday party happening that day, the atmosphere remained lovely, and all the kids were friendly and well-behaved. It was heartwarming to see families enjoying themselves. The park offered plenty of space for walking, playing, biking, and just soaking in the beauty of nature. Wish they had the train going so that my kiddo could’ve enjoyed the ride. Maybe next time… Overall, it was a wonderfully relaxing day, and I can't wait to return. This park is a true gem for anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors!
