Fun City Trampoline Park Salem Introduce

Welcome to Fun City Trampoline Park Salem, an amusement center listed in the Theme Park Directory, located at 447 S Broadway, Salem, NH 03079, USA. This venue offers trampoline jumping and other activities for children. However, recent customer reviews present a mixed picture regarding the overall experience.

Environment: Customer reviews suggest that while Fun City Trampoline Park offers a space for kids to play, the facility may be showing signs of wear and tear. One reviewer noted that a kids' rope course seemed very rough and potentially old, requiring staff assistance. The foam pit was described as looking used with old and worn foam squares. The overall impression from one visitor was that the place looked worn down. The music in the arcade area was also mentioned as potentially needing improvement in terms of selection and volume.

Services and Features: Fun City Trampoline Park offers trampoline activities and appears to have other attractions such as a zip line, a kids' rope course, climbing walls, and an arcade. However, the quality and operation of some of these features have been called into question. The zip line is overseen by staff whose demeanor has been described as less than enthusiastic. The rope course's condition reportedly requires staff intervention for children to navigate it. The arcade games are noted as being quite expensive. There was also a mention of a middle slide in a three-slide ball pit being in need of repair, as well as the top of some trampoline areas.

Customer Highlights: Customer reviews reveal significant concerns regarding customer service and facility management. One parent reported feeling discriminated against after paying for their 11-month-old toddler, only to be told they couldn't be on the same trampoline square due to safety concerns for other jumpers, a policy not clearly communicated at the time of purchase. This interaction escalated with rude behavior from a shift leader and a lack of empathy from the manager. Another reviewer, while acknowledging that their kids had fun, expressed dissatisfaction with the visit due to the seemingly disengaged staff, particularly the one overseeing the zip line, and the poor condition of the rope course and foam pit. They also pointed out the expensive arcade games and suggested improvements to the music and facility maintenance. Only one staff member, a Hispanic woman handling the rope course and climbing walls, was noted for being nice and content.

It saddens me to have to write this it truly breaks my heart. I felt discriminated against after paying for my 11-month toddler. I asked several times before paying if an 11-month old was allowed to participate in the trampoline activities, the front desk employee stated its doesn’t matter if he’s 11 months if he’s going to jump basically pay the fee which I did. I asked about three times to make sure, it was my first time bringing my 11 month old to this trampoline spot and I was accompanied by other family members. I was taken back and a little confused when an employee approached me and told me that I couldn't be in the same square as my 11-month-old because it might pose a risk or threat to the other jumpers. I explained that if I leave an 11-month-old unattended, he is at risk for injuries in the jumping area. I did explain he was on only one square the entire time, I stated I understood and I said that they should have told me this when I purchased the ticket, because I cannot leave an 11-month-old unattended in a jumping square. I will request a refund, but another employee obnoxiously interrupts and says, "we told you several times." I said Excuse me, but I'm already talking to an employee and mind your manners because this is the first time someone approached me. I requested to speak to the manager. He rudely continued to mouth off, He was the shift leader today. I did ask for my complete refund when I spoke with the manager, who couldn't care less on the situation. Since every other location is an obstacle course, I asked the manager where an 11-month-old can play securely except the square (jumping area). Because I did my job and asked three times whether it was acceptable for my 11-month-old to participate, I did let him know that staff members need to be reeducated on age, play areas and polices etc. He remained silent and wasn’t sympathetic or apologetic. I immediately left after receiving my refund. My point is, why discriminate based on age and play area? Why did I not receive any details at the time of purchase? The behavior of the team lead and supervisor on shift today was highly offense and insulting. Staff need to be re-educated on policy, procedures, and mannerisms, and hopefully this will help staff give the correct intimation to customers upon purchase. I hope this is addressed so another paying family won’t have to experience the humiliation and discrimination that I had felt today.

My kids had fun but me being an adult and seeing things for how they are, I was so dissatisfied with our visit. The hired staff seem like they’d rather be somewhere else but there. Especially the older woman who oversees the zip line. There is a kids rope course that seems like it’s been there for over 10 years because it is so rough to walk through that the staff had to assist in pulling the ropes so that the kids could actually get through it. I understand that the foam pit is going to look used, but the foam squares look pretty old and worn. I visited one other time and I don’t know what happened this time around (it’s been a while) but the place just looks worn down. There was a Hispanic woman handling the rope course and climbing walls and she was the only staff member who was nice and seemed content being there. Customer service goes a long way and you’d get a lot less crappy reviews if the employees could smile and make you feel welcomed. The arcade games are also pretty expensive and the music during the day could definitely be better and louder. Please fix the middle slide in the 3 slide ball pit, as well as the top of some of the trampoline areas. Take care of the place. It’s not often that I leave reviews like this. Investments into your business will go a long way. All the best.

Alright so let me start by saying this place had great potential. So we go in for squid game night, it was absolutely PACKED. Must have been at least 200 maybe 250 people here. I came in with a party of 11 4 adults 6 kids one “toddler” and by toddler I mean 11 months old just learning how to walk. My 11 month old decided he wanted to WALK on the trampoline. Not jump not run WALK. I was then met with “does he have a wristband?” I immediately said no seeing how he is a literal baby. With no manager on duty I talked to the “lead” who told me I had to BUY him a wristband. He literally cannot participate in any activity going on but me chasing him around. Not only that I don’t think a person over 21 was working that night. Not to mention this isn’t a very clean place. Save your money drive to Nashua and go to NOVA . I promise it’s a better experience.

Amauris was our birthday party host and he was so incredible! Always asking what we needed, super helpful with the set up and clean up process, and attentive with all guests. It was our first time at Fun City and first time hosting a party, Amauris made the whole thing feel seemless. If his boss is reading this he deserves a raise! Thanks for an awesome time today.

Amauris was the absolute best party server we have ever had at Fun City Salem NH . He was kind and had a great attitude and was so very helpful. He really deserves the accolades. We have been there many other times with room servers who are absolutely nightmares.
