Glenwood Canyon Resort

What a lovely place! My husband and I rented a cozy cabin for en extended stay and everything has been better than expected. Surrounded by nature right along the Colorado river, tucked into a peaceful exit. Perfect proximity to downtown Glenwood with easy access to the main road. Our Cabin was perfectly equipped and furnished which made packing in preparation easy and light. We checked in after office hours and Jessica was so kind & communicative. She even turned the heat on for our arrival, a thoughtful detail that made our first step into our cabin a cozy one! Kevin is wonderful, he and his staff maintain the grounds, the laundry facilities, the office store (great for a quick stop in for some household , pantry and toiletry items) and are always happy to help or answer local questions. We are truly looking forward to the remainder of our stay and can’t wait to share this little gem with our friends and family :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Riverside Escape! We had an incredible stay at Glenwood Canyon Resort! We arrived late, but Kevin kindly helped us settle into an amazing RV spot right along the river. The sites along the river are truly one-of-a-kind, with breathtaking views and the soothing sound of the water—a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The resort offers a variety of accommodations, including cabins, glamping tents, tent camping spots, RV spots, and larger trailer sites, so there’s something for everyone. Each site has a fire pit, water, and electric hook-ups, making it easy to feel right at home. Plus, the bathrooms and showers were spotless, and having 24/7 access to laundry was super convenient. We enjoyed the space so much that we extended our stay for an extra night! The area was quiet, and it felt like we had our own private slice of nature. The stargazing was absolutely beautiful, and the location couldn’t be more convenient—just five minutes from town in No Name. We’ll definitely be back, and if you're in the area, don't miss this gem!

We arrived after the office closed and the staff called us to let us know they were leaving for the day and our cabin would be unlocked and ready for us with the key inside. We were so excited when we arrived at cabin 115, it was a wonderful cabin, clean and very comfortable looking. We traveled with our dog and it was a fabulous place to stay with her. We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, with its full kitchen and cozy living room and bedroom. The resort was fun to walk around , the river is right there, and a nice bike bath is adjacent to take a nice long stroll on. We highly recommend this resort , it’s just a few miles into Glenwood Springs and traveling back and forth to all the attractions couldn’t be easier . Five stars all the way!

This spot is stunning on the view and location to Glenwood springs. My biggest complaint is SOME of the river front RV sites are very small. We arrived very late for our first night stay do to a closure on I-70. The spot could barely accommodate our trailer and left us very little space to park or sit outside to enjoy the river. We headed to speak to the office first thing in the morning and the two gentlemen there were great! They listened to our concerns and cared. They moved us to a wider spot just down the way. That spot was awesome! Bathrooms and showers were clean and well kept as well. The train does come by just on the other side of the river, but I never heard it blow its horn, so just track and engine noise. The train never stopped either, so it left just as fast as it came. Not a big issue for us, I don’t even think my kids heard it.

Our stay at Glenwood Springs Resort was absolutely fantastic! The staff, especially Kevin at the front desk, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were spot on with their advice about winter weather conditions at altitude, making our trip much smoother. Their recommendation for an RV mechanic was a lifesaver, and the well-maintained bath house was a pleasant surprise. The year-round full hook-up was super convenient, and the resort's beautiful setting made it the perfect base for exploring the area. As other reviewers have mentioned, the resort's location is ideal, with easy access to Glenwood Springs and its attractions. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning mountain views added to the overall experience. We can't wait to return to this gem of a resort!
