We were scared to buy it because of the bad reviews. We purchased 4 adultes passed 4 days on Costco.ca. We had no problems at all. When I had a question…. The AI chat answered me fast. We loved it. We saved half the price of everything with the exchange rate for Canadian. I’m so glad we did.

Definitely not worth the money paid. The problem with LA is that it's so big so although a lot of activities are available using the pass, the chances of you getting your money worth are quite slim. We knew this and only bought the pass for 3 things - universal studios, Warner bros studio tour & the hop on hop off bus. Buying the pass worked out a better price than booking separately and we thought if we had time we may be able to use some other activities on the pass to save further money. However, on the full day we had planned to use the hop on hop off bus tour, despite the busses saying they were running every 30 mins, we turned up to a stop and were stood waiting for ages. We eventually found and asked someone working for the bus service as there was no one at the stand and he advised that the next bus would be in 3 hours, by this time the bus back would no longer be running as the service finished at 4pm. We ended up paying around $100 for Ubers to visit locations on the route that the bus tour should have been taking. Therefore, we only actually used the pass for universal studios and Warner bros tour which would have worked out at just under $190. We ended up paying $240 for the pass plus the $100 on transport that we should be been able to use the bus tour for. Instead of saving money, we actually spent a lot more trying to use this pass. Although it looks like you're potentially getting a good deal, the size of LA makes it near enough impossible to maximise the activities on the pass and if anything isn't running or available, then it's completely not worth it at all. You would be better booking separately and not trying to rush to fit in activities.

We bought the Go Los Angeles Card and it really freed us up to do whatever we wanted to do. We woke up early and started out for the day. The special access to all the Hollywood tours really gave us a true understanding of Hollywood and the industry. My favorite was the Warner Brothers Studio Tour and the Dolby Theater tour. We went to 13 attractions in 5 days overall. Beyond Hollywood, we also skipped down to San Diego and visited the zoo. We also went to the Aquarium of the Pacific and went whale watching. All the attractions were high quality and they were well accustomed to the pass and how it worked. We didn't have any trouble with the pass at all.

Awful! The published ‘general prices’ are not real prices and vastly inflated to make it look like it’s a good deal. The provider told me the price would have been $30 not the $60 advertised. The Big Bus company ripped us off by taking 2 passes at a time instead of one under the pretence that both tours were included in the package meaning we had to pass left for the main activity that we had already booked: neither company was interested. Customer service is useless and hard to speak to anyone. The whole experience cost us over $250 extra!!

AVOID this dreadful company! PLEASE do yourself a favour and read the recent reviews - we wish we had. We purchased 3 explorer passes back in March, and attempted to use them at Warner Brothers. When they scanned our passes, they were rejected, saying they had expired. On inspecting the app, it showed our passes had been used for a Beverly Hills bike tour two days previously... we had not even left the hotel that day let alone taken a tour! Now we accept errors happen... but the customer service afterwards was terrible and really ruined a day of our vacation. It took ages to get through to someone on the phone, and when we eventually did we were told 'we must have gone on the bike tour'. After more arguing, she said she would have to contact the bike tour company and confirm we did not do it, to undo the scan, which would take 24-48 hours! Hardly much use when we were stood in Warner Brothers, and had already missed our tour. After insisting to speak to a manager, and over an hour on the phone, we finally got issued a new pass and could complete our tour. Other negative reviews here have replies from Go City asking to contact them... well since returning home I have already made a complaint to Go City, which they initially ignored for 3 weeks, then responded without even apologising, and have now closed the complaint without offering anything whatsoever. Terrible passes, terrible customer service, terrible company. DON'T ruin your vacation, AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
