Harrisburg Escape Rooms at ABC East Lanes

Our experience was EXCEPTIONAL!!! We’ve done a lot of escape rooms at various places and decided to try out here for a family member’s birthday. We did Dracula, which is the hardest room, and were blown away from the minute we walked through the doors. Our game guide was just out of this world. (I apologize I’m not good with names and am blanking on his) He dove right into the theme, costume and all! We’ve never had that sort of production value. He was hilarious, led incredibly well, including when he gave his hints. He even made hints specific to us, calling out our birthday person but making it related to the game. It was just the BEST experience we’ve ever had. Highly, highly recommend. Thank you for making our birthday outing one to remember! The room itself was also amazing! The puzzles and clues to solve were great and made you think. It was so exhilarating start to finish! :)

Had a great time escaping from the white walkers in the Game of Stones room. Our host Peter was awesome and made the game come to life. Definitely excited to try the other rooms they offer.

We have had decent experiences here in the past (Dracula's was fun), but the Game of Stones room was an absolute mess. Thematically it was VERY on point, but the room was short on puzzles, it was not clear when you solved them at some points, and the ending was rather dull. Also it did not help that our host seemed very unenthused about the room, was mediocre about giving hints/paying attention, and practically rushed us out the door once finished (despite us finishing very early and wanting to talk over what had happened). At one point we asked about why a puzzle was solved a certain way since the solution to it made no sense thematically or grammatically (it was a word puzzle) - the Gamemaster just shrugged his head and said "I dunno that's how it is". As an experienced escape room goer, this is simply unacceptable - half the fun of the rooms comes from an experienced host cultivating an atmosphere. I do not know whether they were having an off day, or whether this room is in the middle of being revamped, but definitely felt like we just got scammed out of our money.

Awesome experience! The game master was helpful! We did the Dracula room and the puzzles were challenging and super interactive. Also was more high-budget on the production value than I was anticipating. Everything looked great and had my group sweating to the very end with only 1 minute to spare!

My family completed the pharos tomb earlier today. We've done 5 or 6 escape rooms throughout the east coast. I'm always hesitant to try another one as they are unpredictable when it comes to quality. This one was the best we've done. Multi room, impressive decorations, multiple drop features, and fantastic host support. It has elevated our expectations for future escape rooms. You will not be disappointed if you are like me and trying to decide if this facility will be good enough.
