Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

Wait times can be long for this attraction due to its popularity, so this was our first stop at Rope Drop (followed by Flight of the Hippogriff). Before riding, Cast Members advise you to put your belongings in a locker, which is free for 2hrs by simply scanning your Universal Pass to unlock one. Although I’m not a Harry Potter fan, this area of the park blew my mind, and this ride was no exception! The queue’s immersive and interactive at nearly every turn, dark and magical. Take your time walking, there’s tons to see and hidden surprises throughout! The ride itself is decently long, has a good story, is fast, creepy, magical, you name it! Parts of the ride may be frightening to some youngsters. Also, if you’re prone to motion sickness, this will likely affect you since it’s heavily screen-based. Despite being prone to motion sickness, I rode multiple times, I just closed my eyes at parts and wouldn’t ride back-to-back. Don’t miss out on this attraction, or if you’re too nervous to ride, at least walk the queue, it’s a must see!

One of the best rides here! Hyper realistic yet with a good balance of thrill and chill! They also had multiple elements to cater to a variety of audiences! Definitely worth!

There are lockers free of charge for two hours with a scan of the barcode on your ticket. However, if you’re looking for a bigger one to rent, it’ll be $5. Though the line could be long, the design of the castle’s interior is full of details which makes the whole waiting more enjoyable. I did enjoy the ride. With the screen, sound and light effects, and the movement of the rotating chair, I felt like I was flying 😂 9/10

The line is very imersive as you walk through a recreation of Hogwarts. The ride itself is amazing, you are flying more than Disney's Peter Pan. Breaks down, so the line varies but wait times can be around 20 min at times.

Best ride in the whole park. The cast members are so in character and it’s amazing how they act like what house they are in. (I got picked on by a hufflepuff for being slytherin…) The castle is so detailed and the ride itself is outstanding. I’ve ridden this ride so many times I’ve lost count. I’ve gotten stuck upside down in front of the whomping willow, had conversations with cast members while waiting in line, and had run from super Mario land after closing hours and still got to ride cuz a cast member let me in!!
