Hawaiian Waters The Colony Introduce

Welcome to Hawaiian Waters The Colony, your local water park situated at 4400 Paige Rd in The Colony, Texas. As part of our Theme Park Directory, we aim to provide you with an overview of what this water park offers for local users seeking aquatic fun and relaxation.

According to a review from August 2024, Hawaiian Waters The Colony is considered a "good neighborhood water park" that is "not too overwhelming with traffic." This suggests that it can offer a less crowded experience compared to larger parks, potentially making it a pleasant outing for families and groups. One reviewer mentioned bringing their restaurant employees here annually before school starts, indicating it has been a favored spot for group enjoyment in the past.

However, a more recent review from Labor Day weekend highlights some potential service and maintenance issues. On that particular day, the lazy river and two major slides were reportedly closed due to apparent short staffing. This closure led to increased crowding at the remaining attractions and disappointment for visitors, especially those looking forward to the lazy river. The reviewer also noted that full-price admission was charged despite the reduced availability of attractions.

In terms of other services, the food quality was criticized in the Labor Day weekend review, with mentions of stale pretzels and a melted cookie. Additionally, the park's maintenance was called into question, with observations of missing umbrellas leaving chairs exposed to the sun, a concern echoed in other reviews with accompanying pictures.

Features of Hawaiian Waters The Colony typically include water slides and a lazy river, although the availability of the latter two was inconsistent based on the provided reviews. The park aims to provide a range of aquatic entertainment options for various age groups. However, potential visitors should be aware of the possibility of attraction closures and consider recent reviews regarding the park's condition and service quality.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information provided in the reviews. Potential visitors may want to check the official Hawaiian Waters The Colony website or contact them directly at (972) 905-9925 or +1 972-905-9925 for any ongoing promotions, discounts, or operational updates, especially regarding the availability of all attractions. While one past visitor indicated they would revisit and recommend the park based on a previous positive experience, more recent feedback suggests that the current service and maintenance levels may impact the overall visitor experience. We encourage you to consider these factors when planning your visit to Hawaiian Waters The Colony.

August 2024. A good neighborhood water park. Not too overwhelming with traffic. I brought our restaurant employees here every summer right before school starts. All of us enjoyed our time together. Will I revisit? Yes Will I recommend? Yes.

Went Saturday of Labor Day weekend and it was a bad experience. Parking lot was half empty so I thought it would be awesome and not so crowded. Little did I know that the lazy river and two of the big slides were closed. The kids love lazy rivers so this was a huge disappointment. It also made things busier at the other attractions. I asked at the ticket booth why the river was closed and they said it was because they were short staffed. Obviously staffing and issues happen, but they sure didn’t mind charging full price admission!! As a company if you are going to offer a sub-par product or service do something to take care of your customers. Discounted admission, coupons, free drinks or snacks, something to show appreciation and acknowledge the issues. We did order some food which was pretty bad too. Pretzels were hard as a rock and clearly stale or something. Chocolate chip cookie was gooey and melted when handed to us. Lastly, the park is definitely showing its age and is not being maintained well in my opinion. So many of the chairs are in the sun because the umbrellas are missing on the tops. Other reviews have shown this in pictures.

My kids LOVED this place! Perfect for a hot Texas day. We came with cousins and spent the day here. The tube rides were a favorite along with the wave pool and lazy river.

I ALMOST didn't come here after reading a few of the reviews but I'm glad that we came here for my daughters 6th birthday. We bought passes online which made entry a breeze and we were able to find shaded seating to put up our birthday set up. The kids had fun and I definitely feel if you have young children they will not run out of fun things to do. The only drawback I'd say was the very LONG line to get food. I'd just do a mobile order instead of having to stand in line. We'll definitely be back!

Our family and friends had so much fun as an “end of summer” trip here! The water was clean and refreshing. They have several different water slide options and a nice kids area. My kids were big fans of the lazy river and the wave pool!
