High Point City Lake Park

We really enjoyed visiting this park from out of town including their newly rebuilt playground. The playground sits in such a lovely spot overlooking the lake but yet is fenced in to keep little ones safe. Be aware however that the rides are closed down in the winter.

Very quiet, relaxing and beautiful place to visit! If you are having a gathering at one of the shelters, the Ducks are so used to people, they walk right up to you to ask for a snack! Grounds of the park are kept incredibly clean! This was such a relaxing experience today, that we will definitely be going back! Looking forward to a lot more time spent here in the very near future!

Wonderful Boo event ever. Unlimited $5 dollar tickets. That's bang for the buck.

Beautiful hidden gem of a park. Pricing for the boat and canoe or kayak rental is very reasonable for a whole day.

Staff doesn’t give enough time for people to leave by closing. I was leaving and they were about to close the gate, gave me lots of anxiety especially when we were at a birthday party there. Parking was confusing for me a bit too since there’s 2 parkings and not many signs showing it. Otherwise, the park is well kept for kids and I like the amount of space to do gatherings with groups.
