Is it dated? Yes. That is the appeal. It has a hometown feel. I have many memories here. Is everything perfect? No. Is it affordable for the price yes. Would I recommend traveling over 3 hours for it? No. But I love this place. My kids ride until they can't ride anymore. No 3 hour waits. Lots of rides for shorter children as well. It's safe. Parking is easy if your legs work well. We tailgate. We snack inside. We close it down sometimes. We open it up sometimes. We bring friends. Don't plan on getting a decent cup of coffee. Bar across the street makes Amazing pizza. Plan on tailgating for lunch in the huge grassy parking area and get a relaxing break and hit it again. Every ride will not be open at all times. It's a rural area and I think employees rotate. Just go with the flow and enjoy.

The reason for 4 stars is the value. For $21 there's a lot to do. If it cost much more than that, the rating would drop. Overall this place needs a lot of work. It's not a show piece and is a bit rundown. The food options aren't great, it's all the standard fair food. They need something to help elevate that. The rides are good and what bring the rating so high. Is relatively inexpensive for a family to spend all day and night here. Splash pad and water slides are fun for the younger kids along with a kiddie land section for the young ones. My youngest was obsessed with the carp feeding area.

This was the second time being there. It was definitely busy this time in a good way however the line for the rides were long. Still wasn't able to get a ride on the Hoosier Hurricane and get that coaster credit maybe next time. This park has a old school charm that you don't find at most other parks and that's what is good about it. And how could I forget to mention the food, the food in this place is awesome and worth the time to go. We'll be back again and hopefully I'll be able to get that coaster credit.

Great family fun. Great prices for entrance and food. Fun rides. This yr everything was open. Fresh paint, lots of stuff fixed. Lifeguards seemed to be watching. Looks a lot better

First time visiting on Saturday 7/6. It wasn't as busy as we worried it would be. After reading many reviews I was ready for anything. The staff was friendly. Only had a few that seemed less than engaged. Many were very friendly. The food and beverage pricing was ridiculously expensive for a park that size. I would expect it at Cedar Point, but everything is expensive these days. My 2 teens had a great time riding everything and my husband and I enjoyed the nostalgia the park had to offer. I grew up a few miles from Geauga Lake in Aurora, Ohio and I heard many sounds and smelled many things that reminded me of that park in the 1980s. It was a good park. I would go again.
