Still such a fun ride. You will get wet. Although unplanned we were put on the front row. Our shirts and tops got soaked but our shoes didnt get much water. Not sure if this is the case for all the rows.

One of the iconic rides at IOA that survived the test of time for more than 2 decades. It’s a thrilling ride that surely gets you wet. If you don’t want to waste several bucks on the drying machine after the ride, you may want to consider wearing a rain coat. It’s no longer an overly popular ride, but the wait time can get over 44 minutes during busy seasons. There is a single rider option which can probably get you on the ride without any wait.

This was the most fun of the rides I took at Universal Studios, other than the getting my shorts soaked. I was in a middle row on the boat so I didn't get the worst of it directly but the water that was on the seat flowed to where I was sitting. Yuck. The rafts follow a pretty smooth path with a couple of monsters that pop up and spray water. And then, the raft goes "off course" into the raptor containment area. A few more "scary" monster pop up spitting "venom" which is actually just water. A climb up a ramp before it drops the raft like a flume. And then you get to the unloading dock. Five or so minutes of ride. Pretty easy. Tip: Bring a towel for this one. Or you can pay $7 ($7!) for a few minutes in one of the drying machines.

This was so much fun. It had zero motion sickness for me which was amazing. It was so full of things to look at and great animatronics. The drop was such a surprise. I didn’t see it coming even though we went up a giant hill. You truly don’t get that wet. Well worth the wait.
