Justice League: Battle for Metropolis

8 years ago, I would have given 5 stars for the following: 4 because it WAS a great experience with superb technology and 1 more because this much effort from modern Six Flags is no small feat. Now I must be honest about the state of the ride and it is not good. This ride previously received the THEA Award for Outstanding Achievement (Attraction) and high praise for Sally Corporation and their 'Promise' to bring "world class technology and storytelling" to Six Flags. Too bad Six Flags staff and management are not interested in world class (nor class for that matter). I was at this ride yesterday and even I was shocked to find fuzzy or lagging screens, careless attendants who weren't even directing guests (nor speaking), the pyro and smoke effects off, the musical score off, half the sound effects non existent, it was seriously like touring the "ride" behind the scenes when everything is shut down. Only it wasn't shut off for the night, it was open in the middle of the day. I can only imagine what it will look like by the end of the season.

Shame about that one, it looked promising until the ride started. Six Flags just can't keep a good dark ride running. They require a lot of maintenance and upkeep and that just isn't their forte. The screens are all dark and blurry and many effects just don't work anymore. It's too bad because from what I've seen this was pretty good when it opened.

It is really nice and fun, but long wait in the line. The secret is here ( you can enter from the exit and ask for a single ride ) they will allow you to ride without staying in the line. If you are more than one person, everyone will ride alone with a the others. Enjoyyy.

Great for family competition. Cool off while waiting in line, or do single rider line for short wait time. It is often closed. The conclusion/summary screen at the end hasn't worked in a long time.

We enjoy this ride very much! It's worth the wait especially because there is air conditioning inside and entertainment in the line. We even have timed the matinence wait which is a fast 11 min. Very fun for kids because it it basically a video game and you can compete for points.
