We just went with a family of 8. Had a blast and about 50 dollars a person for the races. Food was good and a lot. Dads don’t order anything for yourself. There’s going to be a lot of leftovers.

I walked into this place and immediately thought of family day. I love their entire set up, the business has it going on! This place has to be a lot of fun even for a nice couple. I'm bringing my girl to this joint, she's going to love it! Then across the street we got a couple spots to hang out at, smoking a couple with some drinks would be nice. I'm looking at coming to K1 in August. I liked how polite everybody was who works here. Keep doing a good job guys, you already earned my business just with that!

This was my third experience at K1, and once again, it was absolutely negative. I had given it two previous chances, but this time confirmed that the experience is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I paid for multiple races that day, and their GoPro rentals weren’t working. Since that was the case, I decided to use my own and checked with both the front desk staff and track stewards to make sure it was allowed. They didn’t seem very friendly or interested in being there, making me feel like I was wasting their time. When I asked if I could use my personal GoPro, they said it was fine and quickly rushed me away. Additionally, they never offered me the free hat or T-shirt that usually comes with the bundle, though that wasn’t a big deal to me. I went through two races without any issue before a young blonde-haired shift lead—probably around 19 years old—approached me with an attitude and asked if my GoPro was recording. I told him yes and explained that I had already cleared it with the track stewards and front desk beforehand. He seemed thrown off by my response and immediately went on the radio to confirm. This happened right before the start of my third race, which ended up being delayed for five minutes while he waited for a response. It became clear that they weren’t even aware of their own policy because the person on the other end of the radio admitted they couldn’t remember what they had told me earlier but ultimately said it was fine. The shift lead seemed frustrated by this answer, but to avoid any issues, I offered to unbuckle and put the GoPro away if it was really a problem. Instead, he dismissed it and pushed me back, saying, “No, man, it’s good. Just make sure it’s not recording.” I turned it off immediately after that interaction. For the rest of the race, he was actively watching me, cutting across the track multiple times, and making things unnecessarily awkward. I wasn’t driving aggressively, yet he kept flagging me for mistakes that other drivers were making and continuously throttled my speed. After that race, I was so frustrated that I went to the front desk to file a complaint before leaving. What made it even more annoying was that another racer had a GoPro mounted, and no one said a word to him. He seemed to be either a regular or possibly an employee, which made the double standard even more frustrating. At this point, three strikes and you’re out. I’ll be looking elsewhere for a place that actually respects its customers and provides a better karting experience.

My kids absolutely loved the experience, and the coach was fantastic—very patient and thorough in explaining everything to my kids, especially since it was their first time. However, I gave a medium rating due to the front desk experience. The two girls at the front desk were not welcoming or informative. They answered our questions with minimal effort, often providing inaccurate details about ride timings. It felt like their main focus was on collecting payments rather than enhancing the overall experience. For instance, we had to ask about simple things like the driving license, which may seem minor but makes a huge difference to the kids. Attention to these details could significantly improve the experience

We held our Christmas party at K1 again this year and they did not disappoint. Food was excellent, prime rib and all the fixings. Racing is a great time with our crews and when some of our racers left early, K1 adjusted the racers without hesitation. The top 5 raced to a great finish although I think the skinnier people tend to always win!
