I absolutely love, spooky wood. All the decorations are so thoughtfully put together and Beautiful. I do wish there were more scare actors in the beginning and in the line For general admission. Last year, there were a lot more clowns and it was much better in my opinion. I also wish they had horror movie characters walking around the entrance as well, but overall a wonderful experience and I will always go back!!!馃馃馃

Saw a video walkthrough from Tampa Jay on YouTube, and I immediately knew I had to experience Spookywoods for myself! Me and my sister made the almost 3 hour drive to Archdale, and needless to say it was well worth it! It took about an hour to go through the attraction and we did NOT feel rushed. I figured being the weekend before Halloween they would be cycling guests through as fast as possible, but that was not the case. We got to walk at a steady pace and enjoy the attraction without having the next group on our heals. Think about purchasing the immediate entry or VIP if you鈥檙e not a fan of waiting in longer lines. A lot of times, the line is equally as fun as the haunt for me. If it weren鈥檛 such a lengthy drive home for us, I would鈥檝e just purchased general admission or VIP because the DJ seemed to keep it entertaining and fun while you wait. The music was great, and the atmosphere as you鈥檙e in line seemed equally as great. We did, however, purchase the immediate entry pass, so we bypassed the line and got in super quick. It was maybe a 10-15 minute wait. Employees were wonderful and treated the guest with respect. They seem to enjoy working there! Despite heavy crowds, each employee I came in contact with asked us if we enjoyed ourselves, chatted a bit, and helped ensure we had a great time. They were very friendly. As far as sets, icons was by far my favorite part of the attraction! The third leg of the haunted attraction (after you get off the tractor from the icons section) comes in as a close 2nd for me! The sets were detailed and amazing, so much that you feel immersed in the experience. The actors were in character and put 100% effort into their scenes. I don鈥檛 get scared very often when going through haunted houses, but several jump scares got me. All I can say is watch out for Jason! Me and my sister let out a big "holler." Kersey Valley knows how to design a quality haunted house for maximum scares. I will definitely be returning next year and years to come!

As always an amazing time. When you've been going to a place so long that your kids are now the age you were when you first started coming says a lot. This would have easily blown last year away, BUT the strobe light section was too much. No one in our party or group liked it. The people in front of us just put their heads down and ran as fast as they could out. That section was terrible and headache inducing. There should be a way to leave it if you need to, or just skip it. The Psycho House from the outside is one of the best things I've ever seen at any spooky attraction. Absolutely amazing. The additions to the Icon area were spot on.

A great haunted experience! From the quick line, to the set design. Fully enjoyed my time. I was in a group of 6, and the pacing of the scares within my group was great. A few tips for those who may have sensitive ears, bring some earplugs as some attractions have loud sounds (chainsaws, air machines, etc). Also one quick note, this year (2024) there was a set that had water spritzing, you will get a quick splash so be prepared for that. Overall a great time and I will be back!

Our first time at Spookywoods and it was great! The line to enter was not bad at all for a Saturday night, we arrived around 8:30 and were parked by a little after 9. Parking was $10 (Cash Only) and then a short walk to get in line. I will say it was a great time, but what really stood out was the people. Every single staff member we encountered had great attitudes. We had interactions with several of the parking attendants and they were helpful and funny, never snarky or annoyed. The characters were interacting and dancing while we waited in line to start and that really made the wait seem like less time. It was my 13-year-old daughters first haunted house and she LOVED it. Great experience!
